Was he mistaken? Edward Quinn paused for a moment, then took a deep breath as the scene from yesterday flashed through his mind again. Although it was just a side profile, what he saw wasn't a younger Clover, but the Clover who was aging with him, along with that heartbeat he felt at the time, that feeling... how could he be mistaken?
Over the years, in his search for Clover, he had seen women who resembled what he imagined Clover to look like, but never had he felt this way.
