"Buy fruits!" he said, having noticed her fondness for fruits at Tian Family's place. She mustn't have any at her own place, since she came back so late to buy them.
Thinking he was buying them for himself, Tian Xin didn't say anything. After Tang Baijin chose only a few fruits and paid, he said, "Get in the car, I'll take you home!"
"But, I don't have my keys," Tian Xin looked at him.
Tang Baijin said, "There's a locksmith at our construction site. I'll call him over. You could stay at your aunt's tonight, I'll get your phone and wallet after unlocking the door, and bring them to you first thing tomorrow morning!"
"That's too much trouble," Tian Xin shook her head, "I'll wait for the locksmith."
The supermarket Tian Xin chose was not far from home. Tang Baijin parked the car in her apartment's parking lot and then took the fruits upstairs.
Tian Xin was puzzled, "Why are you bringing the fruits?"
