"Has he ever seen you like this?" Gu Yucheng asked an unrelated question.
Ji Su's face turned red, then pale. Although He Chenxiang had not, she had been seen like this by her former owner!
"Don't do this, Yucheng..." Ji Su struggled, "Can you let me go, please?"
As she spoke, she recalled the humiliation she had suffered. She had once been protected by him and had never been insulted like that by others!
She kept saying how she would do this and that with others, to anger him, but after actually being humiliated by someone else, she felt that she had let him down in her heart!
"Do you really love him that much?" Gu Yucheng asked her, referring of course to He Chenxiang.
Ji Su was stunned; she opened her eyes and looked at the man, without speaking.
Her silence was taken as an admission by him.
Gu Yucheng let go of her and then strode towards the door.
"Yucheng..." Ji Su called out, "Don't go, I'm scared..."
