Count Jandener finished reading the report in his hand and gently placed the parchment page on top of the fireplace. This seasoned old noble was unusually silent. After a while, he lifted his head with a grim expression and looked at his trusted assistant:
"Self is useless, subordinates are useless. How long ago was this report?"
"Half a month ago."
"Half a month, such a big mess in Tonyger."
"Lord, this may not be an uprising." Count Jandener's trusted assistant said: "Sir Min Tai may be incompetent, but not to the point of being defeated by a mob."
"The opponents are mercenaries, just mercenaries, but all those annoying flies wouldn't come buzzing without smelling the stench of profit——" Count Jandener replied: "Someone is behind this."
The report mentioned Gruding had offended those mercenaries, but this seasoned old noble knew these people well. Without sufficient conditions, they would not easily oppose local rulers.
