"Analyze the spells on Anman for me and tell me the segments related to protection."
"You're planning to deal with Anman first?"
"Nonsense, you obviously press the softest one first," Brand said, staring at Anman's back in the distance—he actually had another option, which was to control the core of Valhalla while Andesa and Mephisto, Veronica were engaged—but he chose to stay behind for two reasons.
One reason, of course, was Qian. It wasn't a short distance from here to the core of Valhalla, but Mephisto was clearly no match for Andesa, so leaving Veronica and Qian here didn't seem wise.
