Among the Six Great Elements, the Light and Dark Elements are the most special. The Light Element is gentle and peaceful, possessing the Strength to nourish Life, yet it can also harm all negative forces, which is called Purification. Magicians who master the Elemental Power of Light are called Priests; in Vorn, the priestly clergy only study two kinds of Spells: Holy Word and Light Magic.
The Dark Element is exactly the opposite. The Dark Element possesses an extremely strong corrosive force; its Attack is targeted only at Life, yet conversely it can strengthen Undead, Demons and other negative Biological existences.
