The next morning, Leah and Hawk Howard returned to Los Angeles.
When she went back to Nanyang, Leah didn't say goodbye to Hawk Howard. She just left a note on the refrigerator and dragged her luggage back to Nanyang.
When the man came back, he looked at the empty apartment and clean guest room, his gaze slightly dimmed, and sat quietly in the empty living room, saying nothing.
Nanyang had already entered autumn. Leah's flight arrived in Nanyang and she went straight back to Squire Manor. The servants who stayed behind were taken aback to see her return, hurriedly coming forward to move her luggage, and said with a smile, "Miss Leah is back, why didn't you notify us to pick you up?"
"Just put the luggage upstairs. Has my brother come back recently?"
"Mr. Squire hasn't returned yet," the servant said.
