Chloe watched him actually going to learn the Howard Family's grandmother's secret skills and suddenly widened her eyes, then sweetly smiled and buried herself in eating.
"Try this venison." Constantine noticed Chloe was eating directly, without even preparing drinks, so he put down his chopsticks and said, "Do you want red wine or a cocktail?"
"Not red wine, I want fruit wine." Chloe didn't like drinking, and couldn't find pleasure in tasting red wine.
Constantine nodded, knowing she preferred a child's taste, got up to go to the kitchen, washed fresh fruits, put them on a plate, and then made Chloe a large cup of kumquat lemon juice, without ice cubes, and brought it to her. He made one for himself too; this sweet and sour drink was something kids loved.
Chloe almost ate her tongue; the venison was tender and juicy, and the beef was spicy enough that she kept drinking juice, eventually eating a full bowl of rice with the dishes.
