Ralph Koch sighed, "He once said the most unacceptable feeling for him is being moved by someone out of sympathy. Later, I secretly asked a psychologist, and the doctor said he has a kind of emotional purity, seeking spiritual love.
Unless there's love, he would rather not have it."
Ralph Koch looked down at Chloe Grant, "So, unless you love him, he would rather lose you than be with you."
The wound had already been treated, and the doctor and nurse began arranging to send the patient directly from the surgery elevators to the room upstairs.
Chloe Grant hurriedly followed but was stopped by Ralph Koch.
"Take the other side."
Ralph Koch sighed.
He led Chloe Grant out of the room while also helping her change out of her clothes.
"We'll take this elevator." Ralph Koch pointed to the elevator ahead.
Chloe Grant almost didn't pause for a second and ran straight over.
Ralph Koch held the sterile clothing in his hand and sighed helplessly.
