An Yin sat right beside him. His long arm was outstretched, his gaze resting on the tender, dewy lips of the young girl, where a faint sheen of moisture glistened.
Quietly watching her lips, the man's gaze grew increasingly profound and cold.
"That's it."
Bao Shaojin took a deep breath, a dark emotion fleeting across his noble and proud face, making it impossible to guess his thoughts.
"Thank you," An Yin mumbled, quickly standing up and heading towards the hall first.
With an anxious heart, when An Yin reached the hall and turned around to see no one behind her, she breathed a sigh of relief yet couldn't help but wonder about the man's whereabouts.
Just then, the housekeeper brought out some fresh fruit.
"Miss An, Mr. Bao said to let you wait here for a while, he has something to attend to."
An Yin frowned slightly but soon forced a smile, "Okay."
