Lily Turner picked up the phone and held it to her ear. It was almost lunchtime. If her mom was calling now, it wasn't just for a casual chat.
Since she didn't have her own cellphone to use at the moment, chatting idly on the home phone wasn't very practical or convenient.
Hearing Lily pick up the phone, Sophia hesitated for a moment, but she still voiced the reason for her call, "Tomorrow you're getting married to Easton. Are you coming home to stay tonight? A bride should spend the night before her wedding at her parent's house."
Although Easton Holmes and Lily Turner were already legally married and had been living together for a few months, they hadn't held a wedding ceremony yet. Besides, no one knew when they got married.
Their official wedding ceremony would take place the next day, and Sophia felt that Lily should come home to stay the night and be picked up by Easton from there, making it a proper wedding.
