Alice Turner was staring at Benjamin Shaw's back. When she saw him suddenly turn around to look at her, she quickly shifted her gaze elsewhere, moving her eyes with lightning speed.
He only saw her head turn, and didn't catch what her exact situation was, nor did he understand how she was reacting.
"Can't I invite you for a drink if there's nothing going on? Do you really see me as such a petty person?" Thomas Fisher didn't directly answer Benjamin Shaw's question, instead, he passed the right to respond over to their older brother.
Hearing Thomas Fisher's question, Benjamin Shaw withdrew his gaze from Alice Turner, "Anyway, you've never been generous to me." He paused briefly, then added, "Alright, I'm not going to banter with you anymore, I have something else to do, hanging up now."
He didn't give the person on the other end a chance to respond; as soon as he finished speaking, he immediately hung up the call.
