Though Sophia Wood was uneasy, she nonetheless left the hospital with Christopher Turner, leaving Alice Turner to chat with Isla Lane alone.
"Alexander! Go wait for me in the car." After sending away Christopher Turner and Sophia Wood, Isla Lane started to urge Alexander Shaw to leave as well.
Alexander Shaw knew what Isla Lane wanted to discuss with Alice Turner and understood that his presence would interfere with their conversation, so he didn't say much. He nodded to Alice Turner and went downstairs to wait in the car for Isla Lane.
Once the others were sent away, Isla Lane and Alice Turner went to the emergency exit.
The emergency exit was a good choice for a chat, as it wouldn't disturb the patients resting in the ward, and they wouldn't be interrupted.
