Seeing that the one knocking was Ryan Taylor, Easton Holmes immediately responded, "You need something from me?"
He asked as he walked toward the person standing at the door.
"Yeah, something came up."
Ryan Taylor nodded, but he clearly had no intention of going in. He stepped around Easton Holmes, who was walking toward him, and waved past him, smiling as he greeted Lily Turner inside the room.
Lily Turner smiled back at him the same way. "Ryan! Come in and talk."
She didn't walk over together with Easton Holmes, but stayed where she was, inviting her cousin into the room to talk.
"No need, I'll just talk to Easton outside." Ryan Taylor refused to go in to discuss things. When Easton Holmes reached the doorway, he shot him a look, and the other man instantly understood what he meant.
Easton Holmes got the message. He turned back and waved at Lily Turner. "Go rest in the living room. Ryan and I will chat outside for a bit."
With that, he stepped out through the door.
