Hearing the door opening and closing, Anthony and Grace Young turned their heads to look at the entrance and saw that Benjamin Shaw had returned. They stopped reaching for food.
Alice Turner also stopped serving them food, but unlike them, she didn't turn to look at Benjamin Shaw. She kept her head down, quietly eating her meal.
