After discussing Caroline Gower's situation with Anthony, Alice Turner kicked him out of her office. She still had important business to attend to, which was to call Thomas Fisher and tell him what had just happened.
When Alice Turner called, Thomas Fisher was in a meeting. He couldn't take the time to say anything to his subordinates who were reporting, so he grabbed his phone and walked out of the conference room.
Alice Turner generally wouldn't call him at this time unless it was something important.

As soon as Thomas Fisher stepped out of the conference room, he immediately answered the call. His first words were a concerned inquiry.
Even over the phone, Alice Turner could feel Thomas Fisher's anxiety. A mischievous thought arose in her mind, and in a sweet, gentle voice, she said, "I miss you."
