Seeing Easton Holmes go upstairs with Ann to take a bath, Amelia Linton didn't stay any longer. She went upstairs with the housemaid, taking Rosie Thompson and Evie, to bathe the two little cuties.
"Athena! Can we talk?"
Everyone had left, just as Lily Turner had intended. She tugged at Athena Linton's sleeve, indicating she wanted to chat in the living room.
Athena Linton didn't respond verbally but cooperated with Lily Turner by action. The two of them walked, one after the other, into the living room.
"Do you want some water?"
Sitting down, Lily Turner didn't immediately start to chat or have a heart-to-heart talk; instead, she poured a glass of water for herself and Athena Linton.
Athena Linton waved her hand, declining the water offered by Lily Turner, "I'm not thirsty."
Lily Turner didn't insist and drank her own water. After half a glass, she suppressed her somewhat unstable emotions before speaking, "Athena! Did you come to Flame City this time to find Thomas Fisher?"
