The man responded indifferently with a "hmm," then asked, "Where's Ning Wan?"
The servant replied, "Miss Ning is upstairs."
Xi Mohan's eyes darkened, as if he breathed a sigh of relief. After all, he thought Ning Wan might escape while he was away, but seeing her still inside the villa was not much of a surprise.
The servant saw Xi Mohan heading upstairs and hesitated slightly before speaking up, "Sir, please wait a moment."
The man's footsteps halted, and he turned to look at her, "What's the matter?"
The servant glanced cautiously at Xi Mohan before lowering her head and speaking, "It's like this, today the Eldest Lady Ning came to the villa to see Miss Ning. I thought it would be better to inform you about it."
Upon hearing this, Xi Mohan's face darkened, and his brows furrowed directly. He coldly said, "You mean Ning Yan'er came here today?"
"Yes, sir."
Xi Mohan did not speak further, but his expression became tremendously sullen.
