She gave him a sidelong glance, slipped out of his embrace, grabbed the blanket, and rolled to the other side. Her eyes darted around twice, and her voice carried a hint of exhaustion, "I want to sleep now, I don't want to go to work..."
She felt weak all over, didn't even want to move, let alone go to work.
"Then why don't you rest at home?"
"No way." She sat up in bed with a start. She promised to accompany Shanshan for the next two weeks; resting at home was out of the question!
Suppressing the urge to sleep, she dragged her tired body into the bathroom for a shower, then headed to the dressing room to find an outfit to change into. Only after washing up did she leave the room.
