Mo Chuxi anxiously moved to the other side of the bed.
Seeing Yan Xinxin lying on the floor in pain, his heart clenched painfully alongside hers.
"Xinxin."
He walked over to her, crouched down, and reached out to help her.
Yan Xinxin instinctively raised her hand to avoid him, retreating backward in a flustered manner until her back hit the sofa.
"Yan Xinxin, what are you doing?"
Faced with her resistance and rejection, the concern on Mo Chuxi's handsome face shifted into confusion and incomprehension.
"Are you afraid of me?"
Watching her evasive behavior, his gaze unconsciously grew wounded.
"Yan Xinxin, are you afraid of me? Do you think I would hurt you?"
"Wouldn't you?"
She raised her head, her eyes sparkling like stars, holding a flickering glimmer within them.
Hearing her retort, Mo Chuxi couldn't help but laugh.
"Do you think I would hurt you? How would I hurt you? By hitting you or cursing you?"
He asked, his eyes narrowing.
