Chapter 129 - Chapter 127 – “I, Qiu, Am a Beauty to Behold!”

Hermione's heart pounded under Harry's direct gaze, but once she got closer, she realized his eyes were unfocused—he wasn't even looking at her.

Furious, Hermione waved her hand in front of his face.

Startled, Harry snapped out of it and quickly said, "Ha—You look beautiful today."

Hermione was just about to smile when Harry added, "Don't get me wrong, I meant your clothes."

Oof. That hurt.

So Harry was just another destined-to-be-lonely bachelor.

Hermione's expression went from sunny to cloudy to stormy in a matter of seconds.

But Harry was quick on his feet. Sensing trouble, he immediately grabbed the birdcage Hermione was holding. "So heavy—let me carry it for you."

"Hmph," Hermione replied with a huff.

Harry and Hermione followed the crowd under Hagrid's lead and boarded the boats in batches.

Harry wanted to look for Zhang Qiu, but several boats had already departed. He didn't know if she was on one of them and had no choice but to let it go.

As they crossed the lake, drifting farther and farther away, Hogwarts once again came fully into view. Truly beautiful. Hard to say goodbye.

They were leaving, but Hogwarts would always stand tall here.

They walked the narrow path leading to the platform where the Hogwarts Express awaited.

"Hagrid, I'm counting on you to take care of Dahei," Harry said.

Hagrid gave a thumbs-up with his thick fingers, head bowed. "Don't worry."

Having a friend like Hagrid was truly wonderful.

Suddenly remembering something, Harry said, "Oh, Hagrid—I've got a gift for you."

"What is it?" Hagrid's eyes lit up with anticipation.

"Ha-ha, don't be impatient. You'll get it next year."

"You're going to love it. Really, really love it." Harry grinned mysteriously.

There were already a few students on the platform, craning their necks to check if the train had arrived.

Behind them, the boys who had just arrived all had their eyes on one person.

At this moment, the scene in front looked like a photograph—and the camera's focus was entirely on her. The messy luggage and people around her blurred into the background.

The morning sun had risen behind her, illuminating her like a divine backdrop.

What was so dazzling?

Was it the ten o'clock sun?

No—it was the light emanating from the girl herself.

She stood quietly. Her red plaid shirt radiated youthful charm; her flawless profile and skin paler than milk, her long black hair gently fluttering—she held a snow-white cat in her arms, stroking it gently. Was that a smile at the corner of her lips? Hard to say. It made people want to look closer and find out.

Zhang Qiu: beautiful, composed, and few words needed.

Even Hermione was stunned by the beauty of the scene, but she was the first to recover.

She was deeply envious of Zhang Qiu. Why did she possess an aura that Hermione couldn't match?

And that long, straight black hair… Hermione sighed. She knew Harry had a thing for that type—she'd seen him glance at girls like that one too many times.

Harry wished he could take a photo of what he just saw—it was simply breathtaking.

He walked over. Before Zhang Qiu even moved, Little Cutie leapt out of her arms and clung tightly to Harry.

Immediately, Harry felt a flood of hostile stares.

How could he know that girl?

Oh my god—he already had someone with him!

Many of the supposedly "top-tier" boys wanted to go say hi to Zhang Qiu, but were stopped by their friends. "She's a Chinese girl. They're very reserved and absolutely hate guys who come on too strong."

That scared them off immediately.

Sensing something weird between Zhang Qiu and Hermione, Harry quickly squeezed between them. "The train's here."

And sure enough—

Wooo-woooo—

The whistle blew.

The train started moving.

The three of them shared a compartment.

Harry wanted to say something to ease the tension, but ended up saying nothing. He just leaned back in his seat, staring out the window, lost in thought.

Outside, the sun was bright, the trees lush and green, and the Muggle villages flew by in a blur.

At some point, Harry closed his eyes and drifted off to sleep, golden light bathing his face.

Hermione and Zhang Qiu glanced at him, then back out the window—perhaps not just at the passing scenery.

Platform Nine and Three-Quarters.

The platform bustled with noise and chaos.

Younger students jumped off the train, eyes darting around until they spotted their parents, and then rushed into their arms, baby teeth flashing with glee.

Harry stepped off the train, a moment of confusion washing over him—where should he go?

His aunt and uncle's place? Absolutely not an option.

"My parents aren't home. Wanna come over?" Zhang Qiu said suddenly.

Those words were so embarrassing to say, but Zhang Qiu's expression didn't flinch.

Harry thought, Who the hell is this Zhang Qiu? Because it's not the one I know.

Before they could respond, Harry gave both girls a bear hug and turned to walk away, leaving them with a handsome figure in retreat.

"See you, my two lovely ladies!" he said with a wave.

God, what a rush it is to drop the mic and walk off in style.
