This sensation came from Aina and Kaida.
The both of the sat down with their eyes closed.
The spirit qi that was once gentle, now surged around them. It was stunning because it formed waves around them.
The spirit qi that was an invible stuff was now visible to the naked eyes.
Aina's body was surrounded by flames.
Waves of fire was rolling across her skin like a living thing.
The heat emanating from her was intense, causing Micheal to want for water.
Micheal who was standing mere feet away, felt his skin cracking.
But then he felt a sudden chill.
Kaida, who was by her side, became a vortex of ice, her body surrounded by mist.
The air around her seemed to freeze and even the very moisture in the atmosphere condensed into glittering shards that hung suspended in the air.
The cold was biting.
Micheal was shocked beyond words. He opened his mouth wide as he looked at them.
These two!!
As the two girls continued to absorb the spirit qi, their powers grew.
Kaida's icy aura expanded and ice spread on the ground at an astonishing speed.
Micheal stumbled backward, his mind reeling from shock. If he stood there then he might just turn to an ice sculpture.
The others on the mountain, sensing the commotion, froze.
And yet, despite the chaos, Aina and Kaida remained still, their eyes closed and their faces serene.
And then, just as suddenly as it had begun, everything stopped.
The flames died and the ice dissipated, and an oppressive silence fell over the mountain.
Aina and Kaida sat still, their chests heaving.
Meanwhile, an oppressive silence fell upon the mountain.
Everybody stared at them like ghosts.
The commotion they caused was huge.
People eyes fixed on Aina and Kaida, it was hard not to stare at them with what just happened.
Coupled with their beauty, everyone was mesmerized.
Who are they?...
Many people asked themselves.
Micheal approached them speachless.
Aina looked at him and then her lips curled up in a huge grin.
"Now this is what you call badass, ha ha" she laughed, her voice melodious and echoing due to the silence of everyone.
Micheal smiled wryly, indeed this was badass, he stared at them in stunned silence.
"What type of weapons did you guys awaken?" Micheal was curious.
Kaida's hand fluttered through the air.
As she did, a freezing cold swept past Micheal.
Micheal didn't know when he shivered.
The cold formed a mist and then a crystal.
"It's a bow" Micheal thought. It wasn't yet formed but he could tell.
The crystal seemed to be carved from the finest ice shards.
The crystal reflected the light around it.
As the crystal took shape, the air around it seemed to grow colder and the temperature dropped.
It's indeed a bow
She waved her hand retracted the bow.
"Cool" Micheal said feeling sincerely awed.
"Your turn" Micheal said as he turned to Aina.
"Mine? It's more badass, but I like keeping my badass nature to myself" Aina said, smugly refusing to summon her weapon.
"Don't be so full of yourself yet, I was born to crush the confidence of people like you" Micheal said, he was feeling the pressure.
"From someone who can't even guide spirit energy? Go on, go on, I am waiting" Aina said with a mocking grin.
Micheal ignored her and sat crossed leg, he took a deep breath, just as he was about to close his eyes, Aina called out go him.
"Micheal"
Micheal turned around.
"Remember to be free with the spirit qi and..." She paused with her hand on her chin as if in deep thoughts.
"And what?" Micheal asked curiously, he needed all the help he could get now.
"Don't forget to be more badass, ha ha" Aina replied mockingly, her laughter sounding like a demon queen.
Kaida who was watching couldn't help but laugh.
Two demon queens. Damnit!
Michael felt his heart tighten.
Ignoring them he focused on the spirit qi.
He tried being as gentle as he could but it wouldn't bulge, it was like his body was a forbidden area for it.
He was getting frustrated and annoyed.
Opening his eyes, he could see the weather getting dark and people were slowly leaving.
Surprisingly Kaida and Aina were beside him, one on each side, they had their eyes closed.
"Seems like they are solidifying their realm?." Micheal thought.
He closed his eyes deciding to try again but it was just the same response.
Why is it reacting like this towards me?
He couldn't go home like this, he just couldn't.
He couldn't take this reaction for an answer!!!
Fuck being gentle! ...Micheal was annoyed.
He decided to use force.
He focused again and extended his will.
This time around he used force, he wasn't gentle.
Outside his brows were furrowed, he was concentrating.
The spirit qi recoiled, it was was trying to evade him again.
But Michael wasn't willing to let it go just like that.
He just grabbed it and tried to lead it into his body.
Although slowly, the energy was being drawn to his body.
As his control over the energy increased, the spirit qi's resistance reduced, allowing him to draw it into his body.
As it entered body, Micheal suddenly felt good.
The energy began to circulate around his body on its own.
Micheal's awakening was a slow process.
He was absorbing it quickly but his body felt like a bottomless hole.
Hours continued to pass by as Micheal seemed to lose track of his surroundings.
Unbeknownst to him, he was causing a huge commotion outside, the spirit qi was running wild and formed a tornado around him and it had been stretched for hours, luckily only Kaida and Aina were around to see this, as it was already midnight.
Just then after an unknown amount of absorbing.
Something clicked inside him and Micheal saw his weapon forming inside him.
He focused on the weapon curious to know what was forming.
It was blurry but then he saw it clearly and his mind went blank.
Micheal was shocked.
