Chapter 245 - Chapter 245 : Sabo, Why Are You Here Too?

Marineford was in the middle of a brutal battle when a sudden scream echoed from high above. Everyone paused, looking up at the sky in confusion.

A massive piece of ice from the tsunami glacier was breaking off and falling. A warship was tumbling with it, and people, as small as ants, were scattered across its deck. The screams came from them.

"What's going on?! Is that a warship?" one pirate shouted.

"Could it be the Marines' reinforcements?" another wondered.

"No way! Look at their clothes; they look like prisoners from Impel Down!" a third yelled.

The Whitebeard Pirates and the Marines were all baffled. Some Marines thought it was a secret plan by Fleet Admiral Sengoku, while others suspected it was a last-minute trick from the Whitebeard Pirates. A few even believed the Straw Hat Pirates were behind it.

As the warship and the people on it got closer, everyone could finally see clearly.

There was Jinbe, the Knight of the Sea, alongside the Revolutionary Army's Emporio Ivankov, the former Warlord Crocodile, and the Clown Buggy. Surrounding them were many notorious pirates and criminals who had been imprisoned in Impel Down, along with a few others in strange outfits.

Fleet Admiral Sengoku's eyes immediately fixed on a blond man in a top hat, holding an iron pipe. "Sabo, Chief of Staff of the Revolutionary Army! I knew it! You're the one who caused the riot at Impel Down! Did you bring all these prisoners with you?"

Sabo adjusted his top hat and smiled. He quickly found Luffy in the crowd and then saw Ace on the execution platform.

"Ace! Luffy! I'm here!" Sabo shouted, his voice ringing with familiarity.

Hearing that, both Ace and Luffy reacted instantly.

"Sabo! Why are you here too?!" Ace yelled, his voice a mix of surprise and relief.

"It's Sabo! Sabo's here too!" Luffy's face lit up, a wide grin showing his white teeth.

Sengoku and Admiral Kizaru frowned. They had no idea that Fire Fist Ace and Straw Hat Luffy were so close to the Revolutionary Army's second-in-command. This changed everything.

Meanwhile, Vice Admiral Garp froze in place, tears welling up in his eyes. "Sabo? You little idiot, you didn't die after all! Hahaha, you damn brat, you actually went and joined that scoundrel Dragon? Still, it's good to see you're alive!" Garp muttered to himself, his feelings a mess of joy and sorrow.

The way Sabo arrived was a near-perfect replica of what happened in the original story. Sabo had infiltrated Impel Down on his own, only to find that Ace was no longer there. He immediately realized it was a trap set by Sengoku.

Instead of despairing, he used the opportunity to rescue Jinbe and teamed up with Ivankov and the other escapees to form an alliance. Crocodile joined them after hearing that Whitebeard was fighting the Marines and decided it was his best chance to escape.

At the same time, Buggy was causing his own chaos, freeing even more prisoners and forming a separate group. The two teams eventually met up, and together, they turned Impel Down upside down. Magellan and Hannyabal were soundly beaten, and the prisoners captured a Marine warship to make their escape.

By a stroke of luck, the Gates of Justice opened at that exact moment, and Sabo's warship sailed right through, only to encounter the Blackbeard Pirates. It was an emergency, and saving Ace was his top priority, so Sabo ignored them and their reasons for being at Impel Down. The current carried his warship through the Gates of Justice and led them right to Marineford.

When they arrived, they were caught in the tsunami created by Whitebeard, and just as they reached the top of the wave, Admiral Aokiji froze it. Sabo and the others were stuck.

After a long argument on the frozen ice, a Den Den Mushi on the warship relayed the news that Ace's execution had been moved up. Sabo couldn't wait any longer. He, Jinbe, and Ivankov used their combined strength to shatter the top of the glacier and fall directly into the battlefield.

Sabo confirmed where Ace and Luffy were and wasted no time. He transformed into a unicorn, stepping on an auspicious cloud, and charged directly toward the execution platform.

"That's... a Mythical Zoan-type fruit, a unicorn?!" Sengoku recognized the ability instantly. He transformed into his giant golden Buddha form without hesitation, pushing his colossal palm forward. A powerful shockwave shot out, heading straight for Sabo.

Sabo was unfazed. He thrust his front paws forward and used his Dragon Claw Fist, meeting Sengoku's shockwave head-on. The sky seemed to tear open as the two attacks collided. The shockwave was dispersed, but the attack managed to slow Sabo's charge.

"Sabo! You got so strong! And you too, Luffy! How did you both get this powerful without me knowing?" Ace yelled, his eyes wide.

"Ace! Just wait a little longer! I'm coming to save you!" Sabo shouted back, resuming his forward momentum.

But in the next second, a muscular black figure suddenly darted out from one of the buildings and rushed toward Sabo. Sabo was startled and quickly put his claws up to block. The black figure's fist landed squarely on Sabo's claws, sending him flying backward.

"Sabo!" Ace cried out in alarm.

Fortunately, Sabo managed to flip in mid-air and land back on his auspicious cloud. The black figure also stopped in mid-air, periodically pushing off the air with his feet as if using a very fast form of Geppo. The speed he had just moved with was insane.

Sabo looked at the figure carefully and instantly recognized him. The man wore a white World Government flag badge on his chest, confirming he was a member of the World Government. His clothes looked similar to the Marines', but they were black instead of white.

"Red Line Army Admiral, Tenguyama!"

As the Revolutionary Army's second-in-command, Sabo knew exactly who this person was. This sudden attack was undoubtedly because he had recognized Sabo's identity. The Red Line Army and the Revolutionary Army had fought many times before.

Sengoku returned to his human form, a grim expression on his face. "Tenguyama, you bastard! You're finally making a move.

You've been watching this show for ages, and you only decided to act when the Revolutionary Army showed up? Have you forgotten the purpose of this war? If we don't wipe out the Whitebeard Pirates, the higher-ups will hold you accountable. Don't think the Red Line Army can get away with this!"

Tenguyama ignored Sengoku and stared at Sabo. The Red Line Army had fought the Revolutionary Army many times, but they had rarely encountered their Chief of Staff. This time, Tenguyama had finally found his chance.
