"I cannot further stress the importance of this project." He paused for a second to let his opening statement sink in.
"It's importance to Governor Tarkin. It's importance to our investors and most importantly...to the Empire. Breach of security, sabotage due to negligence of your duties and technical delays due to incompetence will not be tolerated. We have toiled for months to gain funding, weeks of preparations, weeks of research and work to upgrade this facility for its intended purpose and I will no see all these efforts go to waste or lacking of results," Titus spoke leaving the implications unspoken.
"Ladies and gentlemen we are not only creating a technological means to improve security for society on a whole, but we are creating our futures here," Titus says to the room of sixteen individuals.
The men and women in the room payed attention to his words keenly, most kept themselves stoic and others,…. Well, it was up for debate.
The Senior Chief Officers of the Vanguard were here, Dr Marshall Edred the Chief scientist for project auger was also present along with his assistant Dr Alan Puk.
Edred along with several people in the room had become members of the Tarkin Initiative, and Titus of course was of no exception seeing as he was the Overseer of this project.
Edred had brokered a deal with the empire, he was now binded by a contract to dedicate 4 years of service to the empire for his research on the Amplified mobility Platform and Advanced Cybernetic Research after which he would be discharged from the Imperial Department of Advanced Weapons Research (DAWR)
The Imperial Military Department of Advanced Weapons Research was responsible for creating new technologies in the Galactic Empire for the Imperial Military, either covertly or from the senate's sight or reach. The DAWR is one of the many agencies which makes up Imperial Intelligence.
Additionally, they frequently worked with the Imperial Security Bureau to safeguard its interests because secrecy was a key component of its security. Even now, Titus had been given resources and authority that millions of imperials could only hope to achieve ,and now as a member of the Tarkin Initiative.This represented his rise once more for power.
For those who don't know, the Tarkin Initiative was a think tank within DAWR. To put the project's impact and duties into perspective, it was instrumental in the creation of the Deathstar's energy source and super laser, and one of its lead scientists of such a project was the famed Galen Erso who was a key figure within the organization.
Even though the study that will be done here would not be as extensive or resource-intensive as the Death Star Project, its significance was still tremendous. The goal of the amplified mobility platform was to develop into a multifunctional instrument that would guard against environmental and military hazards while increasing a soldier's or civilian worker's power and movement. Dr. Edred had now the means to concentrate entirely on this research thanks to a steady stream of income and available resources.
Next came the exo skeleton suit, a project aimed at creating a shell that would enable soldiers to carry upwards of 250 pounds of additional weight, improve combat effectiveness, improve human performance, and reduce strain and fatigue in specific situations.

Another well-funded subsidiary and business under the MINOC corporation, the RDC concentrated on many facets of human society, including manufacturing, energy, defense,science, aviation, cybernetics, transportation, and commerce.
The RDC was MINOC's top subsidiary in terms of profit generation and had made a significant contribution to the company's growth. Since MINOC was a private investor in Project Auger, the two organizations were now collaborating jointly as contributors, and any advances, innovations, and outcomes would be shared. Naturally, RDC sent their own team of scientists and cyberneticists as it was agreed upon that having additional minds could quicken along development.
"We have mandated that a member of the ISB be assigned to our staff with the purpose to increase the safety of everyone and the security of the project. He will ensure there are no breaches along with any interal threats posed to this facility,Supervisor Gideon, if you may." The senior commodore said, gesturing for the ebony man in white to introduce himself and further expound on his role here at the Imperial Facility.
These agents, who were sent from the ISB's internal affairs branch, were in charge of identifying and eliminating traitors inside the Empire's ranks. Typically, they were sent to ships to look into infiltrators or seditious activity among the crew. supervisor Gideon if you may," The senior commodore stated as he gestured for the ebony man in white to introduce himself and also expand on his role.
Deployed from the ISB's internal affairs division, agents supervisor Gideon were responsible for rooting out traitors amongst the Empire's ranks. They were normally rotated to ships, imperial installments and academies to investigate seditious behavior amongst imperial crew and personnel or for infiltrators.
Agent Kallus worked in the Internal Affairs branch as well as investigations before being transferred to enforcement.
Prior to addressing the room, the ISB officer turnt to titus to say, "Thank you, Commodore."
"It is a pleasure being here today, a pleasure being apart of something …great", He gave a smile.

The butler gave a faint nod before leaving, the doors sliding closed behind him without even making a sound.
Seeing his childhood caretaker exit he clicked a blue button on the right side of his expensive wooden desk.

"None my lord, the captain was vague with his answers, nor did he have much to say. What we know is that he was employed through a contact on the planet Bracca, a male contact by the name of Rel where he delivered, though we didn't get an identification," He reported.
"And the shipment?" Terrex pressed.
"Lost for now my lord. We've tracked its flight path to the Charros Sector where the beacon was disabled. Agamar sent one of his best to investigate and in the coming hours we will receive a report," Newt stated
"This might be personal Newt, this is the second time my ore transport has been stolen, no doubt to be sold on the black market . There is a traitor our ranks, a traitor releasing information on our shipping routes. Someone high enough in position yet below a director perhaps a regional manager ," The Aurellion heir hypothesize looking unfazed.
"A member from the board is not innocent of suspicion, a few have tried to discredit you and continue to so?" Newt questions.
"Profit leads their interest more than our personal disputes they might have with me , so the minute I fail as chairman to produce quantitative results then their sabotage will become clear. Those cowards think to attack when they perceive their target to be weakened." Terrex chuckles darkly.
"Your wisdom is ever infinite my lord. Nonetheless the perpetrators shall not escape capture this time, I will have them brought for your judgment," He vowed seriously.
"Now, now my friend there are more pressing matters. These issue are not so significant for you to make stark promises. The expansion into the outer rim is to continue without hinderance, I don't want you to be distracted from this endeavor,"
