After some time, Dominick finally released his hold on Jeniva's waist. His eyes locked onto hers, searching for a moment before he spoke.
"I haven't even freshen up. So, I'll go now and come back for lunch instead. What do you say?"
"Okay. Elina will be gone today anyway," Jeniva replied, her expression turning slightly wistful.
"Her vacation is over already?" he questioned.
"Yeah. I was so happy while she was around. But then, even my holidays will be over soon," Jeniva stated, a hint of worry clouding her eyes. "I need to go back to work. I wonder where they will send me this time. We won't be able to meet as often."
"I'll come to you, wherever you are," Dominick assured her.
"What if they send me far away?" Jeniva asked, her concern deepening. "Traveling such a distance can take a toll on your body if you rely on teleportation too much."
"I'll come to you then. I mean, I'll move out," Dominick stated.
"Really?" Jeniva arched her eyebrows, her eyes widening in disbelief.
