"Well, that was fun," Axel remarked, as they walked through the open-air petting zoo, eating colorful, flavored cotton candy. The attraction was already closed for the winter, but the area was still nice, perhaps even better than in the summer, since without the animals, it wasn't as smelly, and they only wanted to go for a stroll. After spending what felt like forever on the rides, they finally decided to take a break to rest a bit (or, to be precise, to let Axel's lungs rest a bit. His voice was still hoarse from screaming).
His words earned him a doubtful look from River. This reaction was understandable - considering the amount of terrified screaming that the Alpha had done, it was hard to imagine that he had truly found it 'fun'. Even now, Axel's face looked a bit pale, and he was walking slowly, as if his knees were made out of cotton.
Still, River didn't expose him, and only nodded his head. "Should we go on a few more rides, then?"
