Facing three uninvited guests, Goetia, no matter how much patience he had, couldn't endure them shouting and acting so casually on his own territory, let alone the fact that they were enemies.
It was just that the way they appeared was not something he could comprehend. It wasn't Chaldea's Spiritron Transfer Technology, but rather connecting the spaces on both sides with a Gate and then stepping through this Gate to set foot here. Before the Gate appeared, no fluctuations of magical power occurred. Even though he had inherited Solomon's spells, Goetia understood that this level of spell definitely couldn't be cast by any low-level Magus. The newcomers were very strong, and he had to take them seriously.
Just as Goetia was getting ready, he heard an utterly mindless conversation. He almost laughed out of sheer anger, as if he had ordered the most expensive set meal at a five-star hotel, only for the other party to serve a plate of boiled eggs. Extremely perfunctory! Goetia didn't know what modesty was, so he chose to directly smash the plate onto the server's face.
"Shut up!"
He launched an attack without warning. A massive amount of magical power erupted instantly, a fireball—a Flame Spell, the kind involved in almost every magical system.
However, describing this might with "fire" was simply too cheap. Only the words "incineration" could describe its true power. Even a defensive Noble Phantasm, if it couldn't defend against a strike capable of destroying a city, would be shattered in an instant.
"Cough, cough, cough!" Violent coughing sounds came from the thick smoke kicked up by the explosion. "How did your defensive effect get nerfed? I'm choking to death!"
"Sorry, this thing just changed from passive to active startup. Some parameters have undergone some subtle changes, and I haven't finished adjusting them yet." Gudako naturally didn't understand Jiang You's explanation, but at least she understood one thing: Jiang You's abilities had improved again.
"As a roadside bug, you do indeed have some strength." Goetia actually didn't understand how Jiang You had blocked the strike. He couldn't sense any magical power at all. Perhaps it was some special Noble Phantasm, "But this is as far as it goes. As a reward for your courage in setting foot here and making me laugh, I will let you die without any pain."
"Solomon... no, is Goetia really this arrogant?" Gudako felt something was off. She recalled the discussion she'd had with Sherlock Holmes (though Old Sherlock had never been motivated because of Jiang You's spoilers). Goetia was actually more like a mirror. He would be polite to the humble, and utterly brutal to the fierce. That meant... despite Jiang You's constant joking around, he was actually quite arrogant at his core. Gudako stole a cautious glance at Jiang You, but now wasn't the time to dwell on this.
Gudako's assessment wasn't wrong. When Jiang You wasn't a "player," he was indeed arrogant toward NPCs; and now that he had learned his true nature, he had the capital to be truly arrogant.
"Who cares about him." Jiang You didn't know much about Goetia either. He hadn't even waited for the guy to step onto the field disguised as a doctor. "Anyway, all you need to know is that this guy is your current final boss. It's about time to start saving the world, Miss Messiah. Take him down in about ten minutes."
"Wait a minute, who's going to take him down?" Gudako pointed at herself in disbelief, her wide eyes filled with confusion. "Who? Me?"
"Who else could it be?" Jiang You had come to prove his own strength, and letting Gudako experience it personally would be far more convincing, while also clearing up some of the pending matters. The current Goetia was something he could deal with in a few moves, to put it bluntly. He could even kick down the gates of the Throne of Heroes and drown Goetia in the Sea of Heroic Spirits. So what if he had Nega-Summon? Jiang You could just open a Gate here; he had endless Heroic Spirits and multiple alts, while Goetia was just one guy. Let's see who got tired first.
As he spoke, Jiang You grabbed Gudako's hand, the one with the Command Spell. Gudako felt a warm current flow from her Command Spell throughout her entire body, and even she understood that this was an incredibly high concentration of magical power.
"You're... you're Replenishing Magic for me?" For some reason, Gudako suddenly felt she wasn't clean anymore.
"Just as I expected of you, making jokes at a time like this." This was probably Gudako's intuition, and Jiang You also quite liked this approach, which was why she could navigate among the Heroic Spirits so effortlessly, always finding the most suitable way to get along and scratching exactly where they itched. "I have directly linked you to the Throne of Heroes. Now, just by calling out, all Servants you've formed a bond with can be summoned directly. Ninety percent of the magical power will be supplied directly by the Throne of Heroes, meaning the cost is even lower than that of Shadow Servants. Therefore, you are now the Master Unrivaled Through the Ages."
"Stop giving me strange titles!" Gudako still couldn't comprehend just how much this operation had reinforced her, but she understood that she now possessed genuine combat power, even if she wasn't fighting on the front lines herself. "But it's true this is my specialty..."
Although Jiang You had snatched the growth she would have gained from the Sixth and Seventh Singularities, she had cleared the previous five Singularities relying solely on herself and Chaldea. No one was more skilled than she was at commanding Servants in battle. "But I still feel completely out of my depth against enemies like Tiamat. Jiang You, you'll back me up, right?"
"Nope," Jiang You blurted out almost instantly.
"Huh?" Gudako flinched. Never mind that she had just been ripped out of her vacation and thrown into this final battle. Even though she had mentally prepared herself for combat, her teammate's morale-crushing remark still took her completely by surprise.
"Because you won't lose." Jiang You handed a card to Gudako. "Here's some intel. This guy's Beast Authority is called [ Nega-Summon ]. Relying solely on summoning Heroic Spirits to fight will get you countered into oblivion. So, the winning strategy still lies with you. The buff I gave you allows you to use all the Servants you know, including those in your Deck. Now, please use your Pearl Tears (not really) on Goetia!"
"What the hell is that!" Gudako shouted, unable to comprehend Jiang You's nonsensical babble.
"I mean, show him the bonds you've forged with your Servants!" Jiang You yelled, sounding utterly thrilled.
"Stop getting all worked up on your own at a time like this!" Gudako roared back. "You bastard! You have to build up the right mood before you shout about bonds-related stuff!!!"
"..." Goetia wanted to say something, but the words wouldn't come. He knew that if he commented on this, his carefully maintained dignity would instantly crumble.
Since it had come to this, he decided to attack.
