"So, how was it? Did they do anything to you? Or did my father threaten you while I was away?"
Xiao replied.
"No, they didn't."
He shook his head.
"Nor did your father threaten me or do any dramatic stuff like that. Instead, he just told me to take good care of you."
Hearing this, the corner of her lips curled up slightly.
"Then you should do so. See? Didn't I tell you before that nothing would happen and that you didn't have to be so nervous around my parents? Just be yourself, Xiao. That suits you better than anything else."
Xiao coughed lightly, not wanting to get into an argument with her.
"Uh, yes. I should definitely listen to you more from now on. Big Sis Hong is really wise."
Xi Hong patted his head as she smiled.

After both of them got inside the car, they headed back toward his house. As they drove, all the events from today flashed through Xiao's mind. He slowly closed his eyes before opening them again, his eyes looking slightly brighter than before.
Even though today had been a slightly rough day for him, as things had not gone the way he had expected, it had still ended in a good way, as he had received Xi Hong's parents' approval.
And that was better news than anything else. As the saying goes, all's well that ends well.
Then he looked at Xi Hong as he spoke.
"Still, no matter what happened today, in the end I got your parents' approval. So this can be considered a good ending."
Xi Hong looked at him as a small smile eventually broke through her calm and indifferent expression.

For some reason, her smile looked more dangerous and sinister, filled with yandere vibes.

Both of them looked at each other before breaking into laughter. Only their sweet laughter, along with the calm and peaceful atmosphere, existed inside the car.
As Xi Hong drove him home, they continued casually chatting with each other. Soon, they arrived at his house.
After getting out of the car, Xiao looked at her and spoke.
"Okay, I have to go now. See you soon. If you need anything or miss me, just text or call me."
Xi Hong looked at him silently before speaking.
"You seem to have forgotten something."
Xiao blinked innocently.
"What? I don't remember forgetting anything. I think Big Sis Hong is mistaken."
Xi Hong smiled devilishly.
"Oh? Is that so? Since you want to pretend, then keep pretending."
She slowly stepped out of the car, and before Xiao could react, she grabbed him by the collar and pulled him closer.
She wrapped her arms around his neck and kissed him deeply, catching him completely by surprise.
For a few long moments, neither of them pulled away. Eventually, as Xiao felt himself running out of breath, Xi Hong finally broke the kiss and stepped back with a satisfied smile.
Xiao looked at her through gritted teeth.
"Dammit."
Xi Hong looked at him, her face calm and indifferent, but her eyes burned with dark amusement.
"What? Why don't you keep pretending, my dear Xiao~"
She smiled slightly as she slowly got back into her car.
On the other hand, Xiao cursed out loud.
"Dammit, woman. Don't bully the weak. One day I will definitely Ride you from above and get my revenge. Goddammit!"
Xi Hong made a playful gesture before speaking.
"I'll be waiting for it~ Bye-bye, and good night, dear boyfriend."
Saying that, she pressed the accelerator, and her car drove away from his house.
Looking at her disappearing figure, Xiao laughed in disbelief.
'No way! She actually did that? Dammit! Did I just get dominated by a woman? Hell no! But damn... it actually felt good.'
