DINNNNNNNNN!

SCENE: R.S.A.

Neil swings his bag over his shoulder in with one arm and begins to head for the door. On his way he gets close to a handful of classmates chatting amongst themselves, the students notice his approach and quickly clear a path for him; fear evident on their faces. Neil pays them no mind as he walks past, out the door and into the hallway; likely due to being in deep thought.

Neil: Hmmmm. I could by using Kyle's survey bots to get intel...but the building's likely still on high alert. With my range, I'd never get close enough to link without being spotted. There's gotta be a better way. Maybe I should...Guh! (he grunts softly as he bumps into someone on his way; he looks down to see Mavy who had just come out of the teachers' office, which surprises him; confused) Mavy? What are you doing here? Your classes aren't on this floor.

Mavy: (scratches the back of her neck cutely with a matching smile) Oh, my homeroom teacher needed some documents delivered to teacher on this floor and as the first-year jack, I got tasked with taking it for her.

Neil: (understanding) Hmmm. (moves to walk past her but stops when she pulls his arm)

Mavy: Heading to lunch? We can walk together.

Neil: I was heading to the locker room first.

Mavy: (pulls him along anyway) You can do that later.

Neil: Hey! Wait!

She ignores his protests and pulls him into the multivator* with her. The multivator not being a normal one as it has a screen – rather than a keypad – that shows the basic layout of the school building and all the ways the machine can move around in it; including sideways, forwards, backwards and even diagonally. The display then shifts to one of a face, represented by eyes and a mouth on a pitch-black background.

Multivator AI: Which floor or hall do you wish to go to?

Mavy: School cafeteria, please.

Multivator AI: School cafeteria. Understood. (the machine begins to move)

Mavy: So...

Neil: So what?

Mavy: So...? Any news on the Laz mission yet?

Neil: The Laz mission? No, nothing yet. Kyle's hit a dead-end. So I'm trying to figure something out.

Mavy: (curious) Oh? Like what?

Neil: (sighs nonchalantly while folding his arms) Nothing too. I just can't figure out a way to get close to Enforcement without them sounding the alarm. And they know me and Kyle's faces now too, so we'd probably not be able to sneak in.

Mavy: (listens carefully while nodding before speaking) I see. that's really too bad. If only we had a good spy whose face they don't know.

Neil: (eyes widen as an idea forms) Or a spy whose face they do know.

Mavy: (confused) Hmm?

SCENE: Enforcement HQ. Training room.

Lazarus kneels on the floor, eyes closed in deep concentration. After a few more moments of meditation, he finally opens his eyes, standing up.

Lazarus: (taking a deep breath) "PLASMA RIFLE".

He summons a technological-looking, one-handed rifle and spins, aiming it at several targets with one hand. He focuses on the targets and fires, sending several shots of condensed plasma at the targets; getting four out of seven bullseyes, though all direct hit.

Lazarus: Hmmm. Alright! Now, "RAPID-FIRE MODE". (the rifle makes some beeping sounds and blue light before resetting itself; Lazarus aims again and fires a barrage of plasma bullets at the targets, demolishing them all)

Lazarus: It's good, but I wonder if I can make something with more firepower. (looks around in thought) Hmmm. I'm going to need a bigger space.

SCENE: Somewhere outside in the forest next to the building.

Lazarus: Alright, this should be far enough. (Lazarus stands there in place, his eyes once again closed in concentration; now ready, he raises his hands and stretches out his arms in front of himself) "BOMBARD". (he summons a large, mechanical cannon with his Polycreate skill, then loads it with Chemist; he focuses his sight on a small high several meters away, targeting and positioning the cannon with his Psychic Will before finally firing it)

Lazarus: Alright, fire!

The cannon fires a large ball of glowing, golden-orange matter straight at the hill, creating a large and powerful explosion that destroys it instantly. The blast consumes the entire landmark in one fell swoop, turning it ash while shaking the ground and lighting up the entire surrounding. Lazarus raises his hand over his eyes to shield them from the light.

SCENE: Enforcement HQ.

The workers are all busy doing their best to repair the damaged building, when the ground suddenly starts shaking, putting them on high alert.

Worker 1: (shouts in panic) EARTHQUAKE!

Worker 2: (also equally panicked) At this time of year? No way. (they all suddenly see a bright light coming from the forest, raising their panic even more)

Worker 3: (fearful) What is that? Another attack?

Worker 4: (worried) Are you kidding? Give us a break. (the enforcers and guards in and around the building all feel the sudden rumbling too, with those outside or near a window even seeing the glow)

SCENE: Back to the forest.

The explosion fades and the smoke clears from the spot. Lazarus looks up to see that the hill is now completely gone.

Lazarus: (eyes widening in amazement) Woah. This is one powerful creation. Creating a mass of volatile matter by transmuting the surrounding air molecules into solid material and infusing it with explosive energy also helped to achieve the effect. Plus, I am getting better at combining my three skills in different ways to achieve new effects and make up for limitations that they can't overcome on their own. (gets serious as he clenches his fist) Soon I'll become strong enough to challenge that Kyleo kid again. Alright, let's try something new. (his mind flashes back to his earlier training sessions and battles; suddenly making a realization and making up his mind, he raises his right hand and materializes a sword)

SCENE: Enforcement HQ.

The workers, enforcers and guards are all still in disarray from the explosion. Meanwhile, two familiar figures arrive on the premises. One is a large, muscular male covered in red and black armor. The other is a slender female with in pink armor with a helmet designed like the head of a ferocious beast or snarling monster. One worker soon takes notice of them, and soon the others do to.

Worker 1: Huh? Hey look. Isn't that...?

Worker 2: Yeah, it is. (the workers all murmur amongst themselves, catching the attention of the guards and enforcers; they too, look outside to see what all fuss was about this time)

Enforcer: Hey What's-- (sees the two approaching, surprising him) Huh? ("Red Armor" and "Pink Armor" walk towards the building, surprising everyone within eyeshot with their sudden re-emergence after several days of absence; over at Bishop's office, a guard knocks on the door)

Security Guard: Prof. Cunnycut.

Bishop: (mixing some chemicals; responding apathetically) What is it?

Security Guard: Well sir, Mr. Red Armor and Ms. Pink Armor have returned.

Bishop: (now interested; turning to the guard) Oh...? (the two armors walk in the building when Bishop suddenly walks up in front of them, making them both halt; Bishop calmly strides towards them, hands rested behind his lower-back)

Bishop: Welcome back you two.

"Red Armor": Oh Bishop, we...went after the two boys.

Bishop: (oddly calm) Even after I specifically ordered you not too? (both suddenly get worried)

"Red Armor": Oh well, uh...

"Pink Armor": (bowing) We were wrong sir. You were right. They were far stronger than we thought.

Bishop: Oh, you don't say. And, what kept you away so long?

"Red Armor": We...got more hurt than we expected and to take time to recuperate before returning.

Bishop: I see. And, were you aware... (suddenly sounding angry) ...that while you were gone, this building was attacked by Terror and we suffered more loss and casualties? (both become stunned at the news, not able to say anything)

Bishop: (speaking calmly despite being evidently angry) We were seriously shorthanded back there, most of our best enforcers are already gone, including almost the entire Elite Warriors team and we're now so vulnerable that Terror now thinks they can just attack us anytime. Now to top it all off, I have to deal with insubordination. Throw them in a cell, I'll deal with them later.

"Red Armor": Huh?

"Pink Armor": But...

The two are restrained, stripped of their armor and thrown into a cell. The two get up as the mechanical door slides close behind them. They stand, looking around their prison, both adults just wearing black two-piece clothing without their armor. They find it to be just a practically empty room with nothing but two beds, light bulb in the ceiling and a vent.

"Pink Armor": Sooo, this is an Enforcement prison cell?

"Red Armor": Apparently so. (walks up to the door, touching a hand to it as his eyes turn to gears before closes them to focus, extending his vision through the door to find only two guards on the other side before turning back to his partner, nodding to her while speaking in his true voice) Okay, coast is clear.

"Pink Armor": (nods) Right.

Swirls of pink suddenly surround and envelope the tall, well-endowed adult woman's body, dissipating away to reveal the young, teenage, average-heighted, underendowed Mavy in her normal clothes. The burly man twice her height, then reaches for his face, grabbing a piece of skin on his chin, he pulls on it to "rip off his face". The face being removed to reveal that of the less-tall, less muscular paler-skinned Neil; his body returning to normal as he removes the mask which reverts to own true form: a white full-face mask, designed like a human face with appropriate openings for eyes, nostrils and mouth.

Mavy: Huh! Locking us up the moment we step on the property, you were right Neil.

Neil: Like there was ever a doubt.

SCENE: Kalahan Manor. (flashback to earlier that they)

The four – Neil, Mavy, Kyle and Candy – sit in Kyle's lounge room and discuss.

Kyle: (surprised and a bit horrified) You want Mavy to go undercover?

Neil: Yes. Even though it's only being a few days, it's likely Enforcement doesn't know about the two armor's whereabouts yet. Maybe we can use that to our advantage. With Mavy's shapeshifting powers, she can infiltrate the building without anyone realizing it's a fake.

Kyle: (skeptical) I don't like it.

Candy: It does sound like it might work, but it's too risky. Sending her in to fool a bunch of deceitful, probably dangerous people she doesn't even know; all alone no less.

Neil: Obviously she won't do it alone. We'd be able to communicate to her through an earpiece. (turns to Kyle) You'd be able to make that possible, wouldn't you? (Kyle doesn't answer, only putting on a disapproving scowl; Alvin walks out into the patio, a tray of snacks in hand – peanut butter and vegan cheese finger sandwiches made with toasted cornbread)

Alvin: (bows to them respectfully while presenting the tray) Hors d'oeuvres?

Candy: Thank you. (grabs a sandwich and takes a bite, liking the taste, she grabs more) Mmmm. (Mavy also takes one)

Neil: Come on Kyle, we have to do this. It's our best shot.

Kyle: (scowls harder) ... (sighs, finally relenting) I don't like this. I really don't like this. But I guess we don't have any other choice...

Neil: Good.

Kyle: ...only if... (points to Neil) ...you join her.

Neil: What?! (if Neil is shocked by the condition, his face and tone of voice showed no indication outside of a small beat of sweat dropping down the side of his face)

Kyle: (sternly) You said it yourself. Chances are: they don't know what happened to either enforcer. Meaning you and Mavy can both go undercover.

Neil: (nervous) But the only reason I even came up with this plan in the first place is because of Mavy's Polymorph skill, which I don't have.

Kyle: Then don't take off the armor, whatever. But the only way I'll approve of this plan is if you go with her.

Neil: ... Fine. It'll just make things eaisier.

Kyle: (just folds his arms and shuts his eyes) Hmm!

Neil: Anyway, listen carefully. This won't be an easy infiltration mission, especially if we'll be using the identities of the two armors. First off, Pink Armor said that Enforcement didn't even know she and Red Armor attacked us. That tells me one thing: they were acting without permission.

Kyle: So?

Neil: So...if they're acting outside of Bishop's orders or even knowledge, then that means on of two things: either they went on the revenge spree without informing Bishop, or they went even after being refused to. (the statement catches the others off-guard suddenly)

Mavy: What do you mean?

Neil: I mean...it's possible they weren't supposed to come after me or Kyle. I've thinking about it this past few days. If Enforcement didn't send them then why did they attack? How could they leave their base without informing their superiors first? Especially with the state of their base. The damage Kyle and I did to the building certainly can't be fixed in a few days; even with advanced construction technology and special skills, it would still take several weeks at least, a month tops. And with the great...fall of many of their operatives, I'd assume they wouldn't have any room to focus manpower on two boys, for the moment at least. But given Kyle's...sociopathic side...

Kyle: (cocks a brow at him)Listen to how the pot calls the kettle black.

Neil: ...it's likely they were itching to avenge their fallen comrades; so itching infact, they ignored orders to leave us be for now.

Kyle: (resting his hands behind his head to relax) Welp. Evidently, that was a big mistake. Should've listened to their boss when they had the chance.

Neil: Yeah, so...bottom-line is...we can't expect to receive a warm reception when we get there. They might even lock us up. So...here's our strategy.

(flashback ends)

Mavy: Your intuition was spot on Neil.

Neil: I was just being practical. Even if soldiers are given free reign and are allowed to be casual with the boss, there's a limit. Insubordination is still insubordination.

Mavy: You speak like you know from experience.

Neil: Second-hand experience perhaps. You can learn a lot from just watching and listening. (focuses his skill on Kyle's survey bots and gets an imprint of the buildings layout in his head) Okay. I know where we're going. (takes out a device like a small, white disc with a black screen in the center) Lucky thing they didn't search our pockets. (Neil focuses his power on the device, activating it and causing the screen light up a pale-blue color; the device turns into a black duffel bag, he then turns to the door and with a single thought, it opens, shocking the two guards stationed outside)

Security Guard 1: (baffled) Huh?!

Security Guard 2: (flabbergasted) What?! How did--

He and his partner are both left shocked and fear-stricken when two strong tiger-like arms grab hold of their faces, squeezing their throats tightly to prevent speech, but not too much as to strangle them; though they were having trouble breathing. Neil grabs their heads and rips off their helmets. Mavy – with her arms turned to tiger limbs – holds the two men in place, as they are both of average height, she easily lifts them up above the ground, before slamming the backs of their heads together; knocking them out cold. She drops the two guards, Neil walks up to one pulling out another mask – identical to the first one – and wears it on one of unconscious guards' faces, causing him to turn into a copy of Pink Armor's true appearance.

Mavy: Lucky the files Kyle took had a picture of what Pink Armor looked like under her armor, huh?

Neil: Indeed. Things would have been harder if they didn't.

Neil walks up to the other one and holds his own mask to the guard's face, pointing it so that the front faces the man, and with his skill, a ray of blue light projects from the forehead and spreads as it reaches his face. The light scans the man's face taking in all the features, once done, the light turns off. Neil puts down the mask and begins to strip the man as Mavy – embarrassed – turns away. Neil, now wearing the guard's uniform, puts on the mask, causing him to transform into a perfect copy of him. Short, red, curly hair, dark eyes, sand-colored skin, average build and fairly tall, only about a head taller than Neil; every detail captured.

Neil: (looking down at his hands)Hmmm. The Mask of a thousand and one faces: a device that scans the faces of others and lets the wearer turn into a perfect twin; changing not only their face but also their hair, eyes, skin, body proportions, even voice. Regardless of age or gender. Truly one of Kyle's best inventions. Too bad it doesn't do clothes though.

Neil then brings out a third identical mask and wears unto the man's face, turning him into a copy of Red Armor. Neil then dresses both guards in clothes that match what he and Mavy wore as the two armors. Mavy then picks up the two unconscious guards and throws them into the cell, while Neil shuts it back and locks it.

Neil: Come on. Let's go. Should any come to inspect, they'll think those two are Red and Pink. It should buy us some time. We need to hurry.

Mavy: (nods...) Right! (...turns into a spider)

Neil catches her as she freefalls midair and carries her to a wall, which she sticks to. He pulls out a tiny belt with a wireless bug attached to it and wraps it around her abdomen, before she climbs up into a nearby vent. He then focuses his power, connecting his psyche to Mavy's earpiece.

Neil: (telepathically)Can you hear me?

Mavy: (through earpiece) Yes, I can. I'm in the building's vents. What now?

Neil: (sees the layout in his head then spots Mavy's position) Okay, drill into the building's wiring system on your immediate right and head straight.

Mavy: Okay.

Spider-Mavy morphs the ends of her four front legs into sharpened, pointed, metal tips which she then uses to rip out a piece of the vent and crawling into the internal wiring, where she promptly begins her mission. Neil at the same puts one helmets into the bag before using his skill to turn the bag back into a disc and places it in his pocket. He then puts one the other helmet before taking off around the building, looking to achieve his own part of the objective.

SCENE: Somewhere in the forest.

Lazarus pants hard, turning around to look at the patch of forest behind him, which is now riddled with a cluster of cut-down trees and severed boulders that stretches on for miles; the marks on them making it clear they each required a substantial number of slashes to finally be cleaved through. He looks down at his sword, which is now dulled, cracked and heavily chipped at several sides.

Lazarus: (sighs in annoyance) Just great. That's the fifth one. (tosses the sword away) All these swords are garbage, but for some reason, I feel my progress speeding up when I use them. I must have a great affinity for the sword, but these ones are no good. Hmmm. (looks up in thought)

SCENE: Enforcement HQ. Training Room. (flashback)

Anastasia: Alright. When learning to use the power of creation, you should know that it isn't some omnipotent ability that just lets you make whatever you imagine.

Lazarus: What do you mean?

Anastasia: There's a limit to what you can make, and certain things that just can't be made at all. As I said before, you make anything if you have enough experience, but only something that exists within the non-fictional plane. Even if it's something totally conceptual like an entire abstract force, you can't create it if it's existence isn't plausible. In other words...

Lazarus: I can't create anything that couldn't normally exist otherwise.

Anastasia: Exactly. You can't create anything that isn't logically possible. Imagine an unbreakable sword for instance, even if the blade were made from an alloy of adamantin and titanium, it can still only do so much before it finally shatters.

Lazarus: Would it not be possible to create a new concept? As in...invent something through creation? Even something like that.

Anastasia: (places a hand to her chin) Perhaps, but it's much easier to create things that already exist, because you'd have proper understanding of what it's supposed to look and function like; as opposed to countless hours of trial and error over something you can barely comprehend with only a 10% success rate.

(flashback ends)

Lazarus: (scoffs defiantly, a look of resolution on his face) Hah! Very well then. If ordinary metal can't make a perfect sword, I'll find what can. (powers up as a purple glow emanates from his hands)

SCENE: Enforcement HQ.

Bishop traverses the hallway, deep in thought. He flashes back to his short talk with the two armors.

"Red Armor": (flashback) Oh Bishop, we...went after the two boys.

Bishop: (stops) Hmmm. Bishop? I thought he always called me Prof. Cunnycut. (turns to a guard) You there. Get me the security chief.

Security Guard: Uh...yes sir! (nods timidly and runs off)

Bishop: Something's off. (over at Mavy's side, she crawls through the wiring to her first designated location, easily evading shock as she does so)

Mavy: Okay, where to?

Neil: (running through the halls)Turn left, move for about another two minutes, then take another right.

Mavy: Okay. (turns left and begins crawling forward)

Neil: This is good. This way we can kill two birds with one stone.

Mavy: Neil, I've reached a wall.

Neil: Tear through it. That's the room: the main command room. Crawl in and attach to a bug to one of the monitors. It's set to activate the moment it--

Chief Rammo: (in a stern, domineering tone) You!

Neil: ... crap!(Neil turns to see a uniformed male guard; a tall, muscular man with an aura that just radiates authority, and a stern tone of voice to boot, standing about a full head above Neil's disguised form – which is already a bit taller than him)

Chief Rammo: Aren't you one of the two that were supposed to guard the inmates?!

Neil: (worried)Shit! He can tell?(back with Mavy, she tears through the metal enters the vent of the first room; she crawls in to find it filled guards and office staff keeping watch on everything going on around the building)

Mavy: (sees the multitude of computers and the big collection of monitors at the back-most part of the room) Hmmm. Multiple computers and large screen monitors. This way they can keep an eye on multiple parts of the building at once. Luckily, it doesn't seem like they can do it for all parts simultaneously as Neil predicted since they have switch between different cameras every so often, or they would've noticed our escape and sounded the alarm. The consequence of having too many cameras and not enough monitors. (back with Neil)

Chief Rammo: Why aren't your post?!

Neil: (switching his voice to the guard's) My apologies sir, I uh...had to answer a call of nature.

Chief Rammo: (displeased) You stay at your posts no matter what, understood?!

Neil: Uh...yes sir. (tries to take his leave but...)

Chief Rammo: Wait! (Neil halts) Where are going?! The cells are that way?! (points in the opposite direction)

Neil: (begins to sweat) Uh...I right, thank you, sir. Crap. Now what? I can't just go back the way I came, but he likely won't leave until I do. Should I knock him out and keep going? But the what will I do with him once he's unconscious?(internally groans)I don't have time for this crap. (begins walking the other way, raising his hand to strike as he's about to "walk past" the guard)I have to do it, I don't have choice.

Security Guard: Chief! (Neil quickly drops his hand) Chief Rammo, sir. Prof. Cunnycut's requesting your presence, sir.

Chief Rammo: ... Very well. You! Get back to your post!

Neil: (nods) Yes sir. (walks on forward while the other two go their own way, stops and waits till they're out of sight then runs back his actual route; sighing in relief) Thank goodness that other guard showed up when he did. Now that that's taken care of, I can continue with my mission.

On Mavy's side, she gains insect wings on the back of spider thorax and flies straight to one of the main monitors, detaches the bug – which appears as a tiny glass ball –from her belt and attaches it unto the monitor. The device starts blinking in blue light as it turns on. Afterwards, she flies off.

Mavy: Neil, I've attached the bug.

Neil: Good. Get out of the building and wait for me. We'll regroup in the forest.(sometime later in another part the building, the security chief, Rammo and his subordinate both arrive at where Bishop has been waiting patiently for them)

Bishop: Ah, Chief Rammo.

Chief Rammo: (stands erect) Prof. Cunnycut. You requested for me sir?

Bishop: Indeed. Take the two to the interrogation room for me. I wish to question them.

Chief Rammo: (already knowing who he means, salutes him) Yes sir!

Bishop: Get to work now. I'll join you soon.

Chief Rammo: Yes sir! (the three go their separate ways, with Bishop going in one direction and the two guards both going in another;Neil runs through the hallways of the building, using the map in his head to find his way)

Neil: Not much longer now.

SCENE: Kalahan Manor. (flashback)

Kyle: (hands Neil a flashdrive) Take this.

Neil: (hold it up to his face) What's this for?

Kyle: It's for Laz.

Neil: (surprised) Huh?

Kyle: It's a longshot, but I figure it was still worth one. Look for Laz's room in the building and put it there. Hopefully when he finds it, it'll help jog his memory a bit. Even if just a tiny bit. (holds out his index finger and thumb, almost touching them together)

Neil: (looks down at the drive) Hmmm.

Kyle: You can use the survey bots to find it. It was in the files I got, just remember: fifth floor, east wing, third door on the right.

(flashback ends)

Neil: Fifth floor, east wing, third door on the right. Okay.

Mavy meanwhile, crawls through the wiring system to the next room. She turns a corner and reaches another "deadend". She looks left, then right then turns back to the left, tearing a whole through to get into another room. She looks around to find herself surrounded by a mass of guards sitting around at different tables, eating, drinking and chatting lively.

Mavy: A break room? If there are only guards here, I'm guessing this is for the guards only. Oh well, not my business. (the spreads her wings and buzzes to a window but finds none. She looks all around the room, finding no structure on the wall)

Mavy: (annoyed) Are you kidding me?! What kind of room doesn't have windows?!

Unfortunately for Mavy, the building's unique design has it built in a way where rooms are built in sections along a certain pattern. In the case of this one, the room is basically along the centre of the floor, hence it has no windows that lead to the outside as it surrounded on all sides by other rooms.

Neil: (still running to Lazarus' room) Mavy forget it, just find an air vent and I'll lead you out.

Mavy: Aren't you still looking for Laz's room? Can you do both?

Neil: Not a problem, now go!

Mavy: Alright. (about leave, but suddenly hears something that catches her attention)

Security Guard #1: Yeah so get this: I overheard Bishop's talk with some of the heads of the branch. It's about the mission, the new kid would be going on in a few days.

Mavy: New kid? Do they mean...?

Security Guard #2: New kid? Oh you Bishop's new pet? That white-haired kid that Terror attacked before.

Mavy: (intrigued) Huh? Could it be...?

Neil: Mavy? Mavy?! Are you still there?!

Mavy: Ah...give me a moment.

Neil: (groans angrily as he reaches an multivator) You better know what you're doing there. (presses the button to open the multivator and get in)

Multivator AI: Where do you wish to go?

Neil: Fifth floor, east wing.

Multivator AI: Understood.

DING.

The machine begins to move, first rising up...

Neil: I don't know what Mavy's doing, but she better be okay. (...then after a few more minutes begins scooting to the left; meanwhile, back at the cell, Chief Rammo walks unto the scene with his subordinate, only to find the cell door unguarded)

Chief Rammo: (turns angry) What?! Where are the two that were supposed to be here?! (he angrily opens the door to see the two "armors" just stirring back into consciousness)

SCENE: Kalahan Manor. Kyle's study.

Candy looks out the window thoughtfully, staring intently at the sky as the stars slowly pop out, one by one; anxiety written all over her face.

Kyle: (not looking up from the manga he's reading) You know, study shows that the number one cause of wrinkles in the world is overly-experienced stress.

Candy: (turns to Kyle) Neil and Mavy still aren't back yet; I guess I'm just a bit worried. Are you sure we can't contact them? They left three hours ago and it's already past dusk.

Kyle: (pours himself a glass of red wine, again not looking away from his book) You worry too much; Neil and Mavy know what they're doing. (gently shakes the glass in his hand to stir the drink) Neil has experience in espionage and Mavy's smart enough to not get caught; plus, Neil anticipated all their actions once the plan started and knows what to expect. Besides, we really couldn't contact them if we wanted to.

Candy: Why not?

Kyle: (takes a sip) Like I said earlier, the building has satellite signal sensors that detect when a transmission is either entering or leaving the building. If we contacted them, we'd just be letting Enforcement know that they have intruders. Luckily, the sensors don't work if it's transmission with the four walls, so they communicate just fine with their earpieces. They've being instructed to call us the moment they leave, so just wait. And by the way, Enforcement HQ is located on the far edge of the city, on the complete other side of it from where my manor is, so it'll take about 2-3 hours to get there; even by car. (rather than respond, Candy just sighs and turns back to the window; meanwhile...)

SCENE: The forest near the HQ.

Lazarus calmly walks back to HQ after a long evening of training, his clothes tattered and torn due to the intensity of his training. An empty, pondering gaze on his face.

The scene fades to black as the CHAPTER ends.
