"Hahahaha... I knew they were strong. But I didn't expect this at all..."
Countless monitor screens shone in a dark room. Rudy, who was watching the screen, was writing in his book. Some might say it was as if he were scribbling that book.
"This is good... THIS IS GOOD!!! More, more, MORE!!! Give me that sweet data!!!"
As Rudy's been writing in his book, Hutogi taps his shoulder to bring Rudy back to reality.
"Rudy, you okay there? Here, I bring you coffee."
"Ah, thanks!" As Rudy slurped some of the coffee, he immediately spat and dropped the cup.
"HOOOT!!! AND BITTER TOO!!! Huto! You know I didn't like bitter coffee right?!"
"Some said bitter coffee makes us an adult."
"Excuse me?!~ I'm an adult okay!"
"That statement doesn't explain why your closet is full of Ultra Rangers inside your closet. And you have every episode of it."
"W-Who cares! Those are my childhood stuff! Leave them alone!" Seeing Rudy red makes Hutogi laugh lightly.
"Huhuhu, I'm just joking. Here, your coffee. With 5 spoons of sugar like always." Rudy slurped a bit not to fall for Hutogi's trick anymore.
"Thankies, Huto~"
"So, seeing you scribble that book like you're sketching it. I assume you have a lot of data right now?"
"Very! You can't say how much I'm enjoying this! It's like I'm back to my childhood watching Ultra Rangers all over again! For example, look at this."
Rudy pointed at the screen where Rio slashes the drone in half to another.
"This guy couldn't reach the drone with that height. So he uses the wall to reach them, that's very clever thinking." Rudy gazes upon Kiyo and Mika behind the screen.
"Ah! They use a door to prevent being gang on by the Doggybot. Ah, they got out through the backdoor. That's a shame."
"Even so, are you sure, Rudy? This building is too big. This match could take over half a day. Maybe even a day."
"That means free win isn't it?~ We got food supplies that'll last us for 3 days. Although I will eat the most though. And look, we have over a thousand bots that'll lend them off. As soon as they were done with them, they totally didn't have enough energy to fight us as they were. The data and money, two birds in one stone! The perfect plan from me."
Rudy takes a sip of his coffee. Second, later he spat out the coffee as he saw something that he couldn't believe.
"What... How can this be?! That guy was at the bottom floor a while ago!" Rudy's eyes locked on Ryuma, who was running in a dark corridor.
"That guy was at B5, the lowest floor a while ago. So how the hell is he in B2 now?! What's the Battlebot doing right now?!" Rudy watched the horde of Battlebot aimlessly running in the hallway in B5.
"He's evading all of the Battlebots... Couldn't it be!..." The point of view goes back to when Ryuma fights the dozen Battlebots.
…
"This is 50!" Ryuma's punch crushes the Battlebot's head into the wall. Despite that, it doesn't appear that the number of them has gone down. Ryuma is in a high position as he's standing on the metal scrap, seeing a huge number of Battlebots. The first thing he had in mind was...
("I'm confident. These numbers are like a walk in the park in my day. That's what I thought, but I ain't getting anywhere. If I'm moving at this pace right now.")
Ryuma sees the iron door on the west from where he comes from.
("Time is important. The same goes for energy too. If I fight these guys, I'll probably be on my feet when I finish with all of them. I'm certain, that's what that guy wants to do.")
Ryuma jumped over the battlebots and sprinted towards the iron door. As he's about to reach the door, he sprints faster. No showing a sign to slow down. And then, his right hand has been covered in fire.
"Flame fist!"
Ryuma punched the iron door off and ran into the hallway. Soon after, he saw a group of Battlebots running towards him.
"I don't have time for this..." Ryuma kicked one of the battlebot. Sent him flying along the bots behind him. The battlebots on the side tried to hit him, but avoided it as Ryuma ran away.
Ryuma gave a sigh of relief that the battlebots were most probably gone. But that relief didn't last long as the dozen more battlebots were coming in his front too. Ryuma looked to the back and saw the battlebots he was running from. Which means he's trapped. But the sight of a familiar door has caught his eye.
"T-This is..." Ryuma opened the door and closed it back. Seeing the battlebots couldn't come after he now gave Ryuma relief for a second time.
"I was lucky I recognized this lift where the place my dad used to bring me with. I think it's supposed to push this button..." Ryuma pushed the lift's button, but nothing happened.
"It doesn't work... great." Ryuma looked up and caught sight of the hatch door. He climbed over to the top of the lift and faced upwards at the sight of upward darkness.
"I'm confident."
Ryuma looked for the climbable part and climbed towards the darkness. At the end of it is the highest he can go as there's only one door as he reaches the top.
…
"I thought he was all brawn, but I guess I was wrong. He knows exactly what kind of situation he's in. For real, isn't that too fast?! I think it's only 10 minutes the moment I take my eyes off him- No wait, Rioga Tenjiro were already on the ground floor?!"
Rudy looked to the other monitor to see the location of Kiyo and Mika.
"And those two were already in B1?! Are they speedrunning this whole factory?!" As Rudy babbled about, Hutogi decided to leave the room.
"I'll tell the others and deal with it. And Rudy, save your energy for later. I know you spent the whole night mass-producing the Battlebots with your power. Don't push yourself too much and get some sleep."
"EEH~ Fine, fine~ I'll let you deal with them."
After Hutogi left the room, Rudy took something out of his pocket. It was a pillbox in which Rudy had stored some kind of pills in it. Rudy took out one pill from it and swallowed it.
"If I ever close my eyes to these guys, I think they'll stab me in my sleep before I know it."
