"Her social media face is nothing to write home about," Mr. Kevin warned, his voice low and serious. "She dates many men, most of whom always come here to cause a fight, so you have to be on guard." He paused, glancing around the room. "But thanks to Gina, Miss Troy's manager, who always handles the situation accordingly."
Just as Mr. Kevin was about to continue, a hand reached out from behind him and playfully hit him on the head. He let out a startled yelp and spun around, rubbing his sore spot.
His eyes narrowed as he took in Gina's mischievous grin. She stood with her hand crossed over her chest in a playful akimbo pose, staring at him with amusement.
"Hey, what's with the sneak attack?" Mr. Kevin asked, laughing.
Gina chuckled, her eyes sparkling with mirth.
Gina's eyes sparkled with amusement as she gazed at Mr. Kevin. "Sorry, Mr. Kevin," she said, her voice dripping with sarcasm. "I didn't mean to interrupt your fascinating tale of Miss Troy's love life."
Mr. Kevin rubbed his sore head, his expression a mix of annoyance and admiration. "Gina, you're a wicked woman," he said, shaking his head.
Miguel, the new intern, looked on in confusion, unsure what to make of the exchange. "Uh, is everything okay here?" he asked, hesitantly.
Gina winked at him. "Just Mr. Kevin being his usual dramatic self," she said, with a chuckle. "Don't mind him."
As the tension dissipated, Mr. Kevin cleared his throat, a sly glint in his eye. "Well, where was I? Ah yes, Miss Troy's...interesting dating history."
Gina rolled her eyes good-naturedly. "Do go on, Mr. Kevin. I'm sure Miguel is fascinated."
But do you know what happens to those who know about Miss Troy's life history?" Gina asked Miguel with a mischievous smile, and Miguel and other intern who were already scared answer know. They all died. Gina said and their scream in fear.
Gina's mischievous smile grew wider as she leaned in, her voice taking on a conspiratorial tone. "But do you know what happens to those who know about Miss Troy's life history?" she asked Miguel, her eyes glinting with amusement.
Miguel and the other interns exchanged nervous glances. "N-no," Miguel stuttered, his voice barely above a whisper.
Gina's grin grew even wider. "They all died," she said, her voice dripping with drama.
The room fell silent, the only sound the interns' collective gasp. Miguel's eyes went wide with fear, and he took a step back, his hands shaking.
"What do you mean?" one of the other interns asked, her voice trembling.
Gina chuckled, her eyes sparkling with mirth. "Oh, I'm just kidding," she said, waving her hand dismissively. "Or am I?"
The interns looked at each other nervously, unsure whether Gina was serious or not. Miguel swallowed hard, his heart still racing from the scare.
Mr. Kevin cleared his throat, a hint of amusement in his voice. "Gina, you're going to give them nightmares."
Gina winked at him. "Just trying to keep things interesting around here."
"End of story," Mrs. Irene said as she walked towards the crowd. "Interns, she calls, and they are stood. Get to work," she said, and "remember, above all, you will get into more than enough trouble if you continue to hang out with Mr. Kevin."
Mrs. Irene shot a stern glance at Mr. Kevin and walked away with the interns.
"Did you just see that, Gina?" Mr. Kevin asked, his voice laced with annoyance. "I can't believe she actually said that." He sounded hurt, his ego bruised.
He turned to face Gina, expecting to share his indignation with her. But she was nowhere to be found. He sighed and shook his head.
"Guess I'm on my own with this one," he muttered to himself.
