Chapter 301 - CHAPTER 301:Captain Rocks Is Really Resurrected?

Ayr opened the system store interface, his eyes quickly scanning the Special Items section.

One item immediately caught his attention—and the listed cost made his brow twitch.

"Thirty Devil Fruits?!"

He remembered clearly that the last time the system refreshed its Special Items, the most expensive entry only required fifteen Devil Fruits.

Why did this one require double the amount?

But as his eyes fell on the item's name, his confusion was quickly replaced by shock.

"Ōtsutsuki Kaguya's abilities?!"

Ōtsutsuki Kaguya—final boss of the Naruto universe, embodiment of the Divine Tree, origin of all chakra, and the founding goddess of the shinobi world.

She wielded two of the most transcendent dojutsu—the Byakugan and the Rinne Sharingan—surpassing even Hagoromo, the Sage of Six Paths.

Though eventually sealed away by her sons, Ōtsutsuki Hagoromo and Hamura, her essence was so powerful she created Black Zetsu, a will-born entity destined to orchestrate her resurrection.

Her arsenal of powers was nothing short of divine—dimensional shifting, truth-seeking orbs, bone ash destruction, and techniques on a cosmic scale.

Now it made sense.

To obtain the powers of such an immortal, cosmic-level being—thirty Devil Fruits was a bargain.

Ayr didn't hesitate.

He immediately exchanged thirty Devil Fruits and confirmed the purchase.

In this world, a single Devil Fruit was a rare treasure. But for Ayr—whose influence spanned the globe, with fleets scouring the seas day and night in search of fruits, and with Vegapunk tirelessly developing artificial Zoans for him—such a number was within reach.

For others, thirty Devil Fruits was an unreachable dream.

For Ayr, it was an investment in omnipotence.

> Ding! Congratulations, Host. The purchase was successful. You have acquired the abilities of Ōtsutsuki Kaguya!

As the system message faded, an enormous surge of divine energy flooded into Ayr's body.

His veins shimmered with celestial chakra.

Knowledge not of this world—the usage, principles, and combat tactics of Kaguya's techniques—poured into his mind like a tsunami.

He felt the overwhelming force of her dimensional portals, the elegance of her Yin-Yang Release, and the terrifying lethality of her All-Killing Ash Bones.

Yet, not everything transferred.

He noticed that certain ultimate abilities—such as Infinite Tsukuyomi and God's Arrival (Amenominaka)—remained locked.

Ayr had not yet reached full synchronization with her godlike essence.

But still, for the vast majority of her skillset, he had become the master.

And that alone made him nearly untouchable.

Now, with both the Sage of Six Paths system and Kaguya's power, Ayr had risen to a height where even the likes of Rocks, Roger, or Imu would feel pressure.

As Ayr quietly marveled at his new strength, the tavern door creaked open once again.

Several pirates stepped in respectfully, bowing before him and Rocks.

"Lord Ayr! Shiki of the Flying Pirates, Edward Newgate of the Whitebeard Pirates, Charlotte Linlin of the Big Mom Pirates, and Kaido of the Beasts Pirates request an audience!"

These were not just any pirates.

These were the titans of the sea—three of them future Emperors of the New World.

In the original timeline, Shiki might have claimed such a title as well, if not for the rudder embedded in his head after the At War incident with Roger. That injury had forever marred his legacy.

But now, with Rocks alive again, and the balance of power in flux, these legends had dropped everything and sailed straight for DeRosta, desperate for answers.

"Shiki, Linlin, Edward, Kaido... I haven't seen them in a long time," Rocks said coldly, a cruel smile curling on his lips.

The battle at the Valley of the Gods flashed in his mind.

He remembered clearly how he had turned to Charlotte Linlin and Shiki for aid—only to be coldly rejected.

Now, they dared show their faces?

If it weren't for his imminent death—his final hours now counting down—he might have slaughtered them all right then and there.

"If they were to die now," he thought darkly, "the power vacuum would only hurt Ayr."

He kept the thought to himself.

"Looks like they've learned about your resurrection, Rocks," Ayr said casually.

It was true. After the battle at DeRosta, Marine HQ had publicly confirmed Rocks' return, hoping to incite panic across the globe.

And clearly, it had worked.

These so-called "kings" of the sea had come running.

"I've been waiting to see those bastards," Rocks muttered.

"You want to kill them?" Ayr asked bluntly.

"No. That wouldn't benefit you," Rocks replied. "Let them in."

Ayr nodded and gestured to the pirates.

"Let them through."

"Yes, Lord Ayr!"

The men bowed and departed.

Moments later, the tavern doors swung open once more.

And there they were.

Edward Newgate. Golden Lion Shiki. Charlotte Linlin. Kaido.

The air turned heavy with tension.

They stopped dead at the sight of Rocks, standing tall and unmistakably alive.

"Lo... Captain Rocks!!!"

Shiki's face went pale. Sweat beaded on his forehead. He instinctively took a step back.

That one regret from the Valley of the Gods—refusing Rocks' plea—now returned to haunt him.

He remembered his mocking laughter... his rejection.

Now, that man stood before him, very much alive.

Even without the rudder injury, even with his current strength, Rocks' presence was still suffocating.

> "Are you... truly alive?" Linlin gasped.

The once-formidable Big Mom, now bearing the scars of her encounter with Ayr, looked as though she'd seen a ghost.

When Marine HQ had announced the news, she'd dismissed it—until she remembered something chilling.

Ayr had come to Whole Cake Island, demanding a detailed map of God Valley.

Shortly afterward, the resurrection of Rocks was made public.

She knew then—Ayr had used that intel to raise the dead.

Now, standing before the resurrected Rocks, every fiber in her being screamed danger.

Fear gripped her chest.

If Rocks and Ayr decided to purge the New World of betrayal… not even all four of them combined could stop it.

After all, they had already watched as John, Ochoku, and Silver Axe—three of their own—were brutally eliminated just days earlier.

This… was no longer a world they could control.
