"Planet Vegeta has already been destroyed..." Raiga stated truthfully.
Hertz was deeply shaken upon hearing this. His once resolute face suddenly became despondent. The destruction of Planet Vegeta had not only taken away his comrades-in-arms but also his wife, Asita. They were all dead.
The proud Saiyan race was on the brink of extinction.
Seeing Hertz remain silent, Sephiria didn't know what to say. After all, she couldn't fully understand Hertz's sorrow.
She lightly patted his shoulder. Compared to Hertz, she might actually be the lucky one, because she still had Raiga as family. Glancing around at their surroundings, she noticed the dim sky filled with dust. The atmospheric currents were fast, and although there was some vegetation on the vast land, the turbid air made breathing uncomfortable.
Sephiria asked, "Where are we?"
Raiga responded, "This is Planet Naja, the closest habitable planet to Planet Vegeta. Since time was pressing, I had to pick a planet at random."
Hertz nodded. "I know this planet. Due to its harsh living conditions, the Frieza Force never included it among the planets for sale. It's merely used as a temporary stopover."
Sephiria furrowed her brows. "That means there might be Frieza Force personnel stationed here."
"Exactly."
Hertz nodded, his emotions somewhat stabilizing, but a trace of unseen sorrow still lingered in his eyes.
The three of them understood that they couldn't stay on this planet for long. Since Frieza was determined to exterminate the Saiyan race, he would surely send forces to hunt down any surviving Saiyans. Being this close to Planet Vegeta was simply too dangerous. Furthermore, the environment was hostile, with extremely scarce food supplies.
"Hertz, eat the bean you're holding first. It seems to instantly restore stamina," Sephiria urged him to use the Senzu Bean.
"This is called a Senzu Bean. It's a miraculous item from a certain planet. Eating just one allows you to go ten days without food. More importantly, it instantly restores stamina, and except for diseases, it heals any injuries in an instant," Raiga explained the benefits of the Senzu Bean.
Hearing this, Hertz held the dry bean in disbelief and placed it into his mouth. As he chewed, his expression turned to shock—his stamina had truly been restored.
"Incredible! I never knew something so miraculous existed in the universe."
"You'll come across even more astonishing things in the future," Raiga said with a mysterious smile.
Sephiria and Hertz were both excellent Saiyans. With so few Saiyans left in the universe, they needed to stick together until they grew stronger.
Sephiria stared directly at Raiga. Seeing his cheerful smile, she couldn't help but grab him and lift him off the ground. At less than a meter tall, Raiga was no match for Sephiria, and he struggled for a while before she finally put him down.
"Alright, let's get to the important matters. The Frieza Force is definitely hunting down lone Saiyans across the universe. We can't stay here for long. We need to decide on our next destination."
One must think ahead to avoid imminent danger. Raiga had no intention of confronting Frieza before growing strong enough. He had no deep-seated grudge against Frieza and wasn't foolish enough to seek revenge for the dead Saiyans.
As Sephiria had mentioned earlier, the destruction of Planet Vegeta was no different from the fate of planets that Saiyans had annihilated before. It was merely the outcome of survival of the fittest. The Saiyans had perished because they weren't strong enough.
If even Sephiria acknowledged this, Raiga had no reason to argue.
After Raiga raised this issue, both Sephiria and Hertz became serious. Sephiria said, "The Frieza Force's influence extends across the southern region of the North Galaxy. Though it doesn't have formally designated territories, staying here increases the likelihood of encountering them."
Hertz suggested, "What if we head west in the North Galaxy? The Frieza Force rarely ventures there, and according to legend, that's where our Saiyan race originally came from."
"The Planet Sadala?" Sephiria had heard of the origin planet before.
"That was the peak of the Saiyan race. If not for the civil war, Planet Sadala wouldn't have been destroyed, and we wouldn't have been forced to migrate to Planet Vegeta." Hertz sighed. The former glory of the Saiyans was gone, and reminiscing about it now was meaningless.
Sephiria nodded. "The western region of the North Galaxy does seem like a good destination."
"Then let's head there."
Raiga had no objections. Earth was originally an ideal planet, but it was simply too fragile. Since Raiga was eager to improve his strength, he quickly ruled Earth out as an option.
Sephiria looked at Raiga and said, "But we don't have a spaceship. If we rely solely on your ability, I'm afraid it'll exhaust you."
Raiga's teleportation ability was indeed miraculous, but bringing two people along for instant travel was an immense strain. When he had escaped Planet Vegeta with Sephiria and Hertz earlier, it had nearly cost him his life.
"Who said we don't have a spaceship?"
Raiga smirked at Sephiria and, without further explanation, pulled a capsule from his pocket and tossed it. With a "bang" and a puff of thick smoke, a sleek, black, elliptical spacecraft appeared before them. It was about thirty meters long and over eight meters tall, resembling a small mountain.
It was none other than the modified gravity spaceship designed by Dr. Brief.
"This spaceship was specially modified by a genius scientist. Its power system has been fully upgraded, making its performance comparable to the most advanced ships in the Frieza Force. Apart from the cockpit, it has four separate rooms..."
Raiga briefly introduced the ship's features. When Sephiria and Hertz learned that it also contained a device capable of altering gravity and atmospheric pressure, they became intrigued.
After boarding the ship and personally experiencing the effects of the gravity training room, they quickly grew fond of it.
This gravity chamber simulated the high-gravity conditions of certain planets, providing an excellent environment for improving their strength.
"With this training room, my power will increase significantly. Maybe we shouldn't rush to the western region of the North Galaxy just yet. We should find a secluded planet and train first." Sephiria's fair face was glowing with excitement. For her, power enhancement was the top priority.
"Indeed. Strength is the key to safety." Having just witnessed the destruction of his homeworld, Hertz wholeheartedly agreed.
Raiga nodded slightly. Unconsciously, at just five years old, he had become the central figure of the group.
Afterward, they accessed the ship's database and searched for a suitable location. Finally, they identified a mid-level planet far from the Frieza Force's surveillance. Although life existed there, civilization had not yet developed.
