Hou nodded, "Thank you," he looked around, "is it fine for you to leave your World?"
Gwynn thought for a moment, "I think, it's...I don't really know why, but it should be good. Please explain more, I want to understand."
Xavier nodded, "Let's leave first." He glanced at Hou, communicating with his eyes. He didn't feel safe being in someone's world where they have ultimate power with someone they were not 100% on yet.
Hou agreed, "Gwynn, follow us to my World if you will. Hamartia is where our group has set up for communication, the rest are out but still it's best to keep there."

Araxis waved goodbye, "Are we sure it's fine?" He turned to his side.
"It should be, there's no reason not to think Xavier bringing him back shouldn't fix it." Beorn watched on, too, as a high ranking mage of Araxis' walked into the rift.
They had already attempted it many times but this time was different for some reason. No other person could pass the rift except this one.
There was nothing special about him, there were others stronger and others weaker that couldn't pass.
The mage, stepped through, as soon as he passed the surface he was ripped through. They saw his body elongate as it moved through the rift then vanished.
They waited an hour, "that should be enough, try to call for him." Wadall spoke to Araxis. They were testing their hypothesis that the magic comes from Araxis' world through entanglement and shouldn't be stopped even if the user is in a other world through a rift.
Araxis nodded and tapped his staff on the ground. He didn't need to do hat to use magic, it was just how he was used to it. It was how he was taught, and so he continued.
He tapped the staff and used mana trough it, weaving it into laws and symbols of secrecy. He created a basic spell, communication.
It would transmit whatever thoughts you had mentally from one figure to another. The spell activated and Araxis placed a few hairs onto the top of his staff.
That was the connection, he needed something with the essence of the person he intended to communicate with. Anything from the body was simplest, the hair vanished within the magic.
It swirled and pulsed...
"Did it work?" Wadall looked up in excitement.
"It..." Araxis closed his eyes and focused, "worked, sort of."
Beorn tapped him on the shoulder, "Sort of, what do you mean? Can you communicate?"
"No, but the spell did work. If he wasn't in this world anymore, the spell would've broken but it hasn't. It is working but I can't hear anything back." He opened his eyes and shook his staff, forcefully breaking the spell himself.
Beorn hummed, "Any ideas why? Anyone?" He asked.
Araxis shook his head, "It's possible he is out of mana himself, he would only have the mana he came in with. He wouldn't be able to refill himself in a foreign World without mana."
Lydia nodded, "Adding into that, it's possible that he is subject to a transformation like the one here, he could have reduced mental capacity."
Araxis tapped his staff and reattempted connection. Again placing a small piece of hair he had collected earlier into the glowing crystal at the top of his staff.
'Can you hear me?' he asked but received nothing back. He tutted and shook his staff, changing the spell formula.
He tried to create a different kind of connection, one to create a vision of the target's own view. Normally it would need to person's consent but if Lydia was right and he had limited intelligence he may not have the ability to reject.
He used mana and created a new spell. It burned and he waited, the spell should give him a single vision. Like a still image of his vision.
Tick tock...time passed.
He sighed and opened his eyes, "I'm not sure, I tried to grant myself a vision but that did not work either."
Beorn still had his hand on Araxis shoulder, and he started to inject some of his Causality into him, "Try again."
Araxis nodded, and again he tried to establish a connection.
'the connection is established and communication occurs' Beorn commanded his Causality. He had a great amount having been to the Collective again and been blessed with more.
That is how the Collective functions, having been given their Causality not by any World or authority; but they did not understand how even if they knew it was not a World.
"It's..." Araxis started to shake.
Beorn pushed down, attempting to stabilise, "is it working?!" his Causality was being used at an event increasing rate.
He held out his other hand to Lydia and Wadall, non-verbally asking for their Causality. They would need to visit the collective again and make up a reason they must this Causality.
Araxis shouted and released his his staff, throwing it away. The siren broke and the Collectives stopped injecting Causality.
Beorn was especially weak, his Causality was extremely low. While feeling his body waver, he stumbled over to the fallen Araxis, "Did it at least work?"

Hamar sat at the seat of the roundtable, his body was at least. Nope that he was back in Hamartia he left his physical body and returned to his World form.
In that metaphysical state, he continued to ponder:
'My intuition wants me to look into consciousness. The intuition is related to the consciousness which is related to the Sea of Worlds which, in turn, is related to the Devourer of Worlds.'
'Adding in Gwynns words, the Devourer is linked to Causality. Everything is connected, but how? And the Collective, they add another layer to all of this. They seem to have the powers of Gods without the connection to the Devourer.'
He sat there pondering, when something clicked, "Causality is gathered through people, consciousness. Causality, that I have, is connected to the Devourer. All consciousness' in Worlds have a connection to the Devourer and hence can use that World's Qualia?"
"The Devourer, its–!" he was cut off as Xavier came to his body, "Araxis has a new revelation!"
Hou re-entered his body, using the Causality to make it stronger, 'I should test changing the body before moving Worlds at the same time' he thought.
"I also have an announcement, but don't bring them here. I want Gwynn to join and to see the rifts, bring us to Araxis!"
