A huge white Windrend shot through the night sky like a white star. It travelled at a shocking speed that allowed it to cross several kilometres in seconds.
Three people sat on the Windrend's back as it flew soundlessly, these three were Alex, President Shin, and Lishu.
Alex already knew that magic beasts were able to speak and possess intelligence that equalled that of humans after meeting Alicia, so he wasn't surprised by the Windrend's ability to speak.
What shocked him was the Windrend's playful personality which was very different from Alicia's. It behaved like a playful teenage kid who was always ready to make friends.
While they travelled, Alex learned that the Windrend was Lishu's third contracted magic beast. Contracted beasts were different from summoned beasts, they were found in the real world and could stay inside their summoner's soul sea after successfully forming a contract.
