Chapter 13 - Defeat of Kronos

With Kronos as the new King of the Gods, the world saw an opportunity for growth. It was also after becoming a God King that Kronos married his sister, Rhea who doesn't own any concept. This allowed Rhea to become the goddess of Time known to the world today.

For the first time since its creation, the world itself sought to evolve.

Tartarus, the abyss where all negativity gathered, had always been a place of destruction—a pit where the defeated were cast away, never to return.

But this alone was not enough.

"The world required balance. If the dead had nowhere to go, their spirits would linger and disrupt the cycle of existence."

And so, between Gaia (the land) and Tartarus (the abyss), a new domain was created—The Underworld.

A realm where the dead could rest, where souls could find their final purpose.

At the same time, a new force emerged.

Lightning. A concept born of pure energy—uncontrollable, fierce, and divine.

The world, in its growing wisdom, foresaw the power of lightning and its potential.

"If controlled properly, it would allow the world to cleanse itself of corruption. To destroy stagnation. To bring forth change."

But a mere force of nature was not enough.

Lightning needed a will.

For the first time, the world itself took action.

It gathered three things:

1. The Spirituality of Lightning – The power to reshape the heavens.

2. The Will of the Underworld – The force to govern the afterlife.

3. The Sleeping Soul of Pontus – The essence of the ancient sea.

And then, it did something unprecedented.

It placed these divine elements inside Rhea, who carried the children of Kronos.

And so, three beings were born:

Zeus, the wielder of lightning, destined to challenge the heavens.

Poseidon, the heir of Pontus, fated to reclaim the sea.

Hades, the ruler of the underworld, meant to govern the souls of the dead.

The world had created its greatest warriors.

Kronos, despite his arrogance, was not ignorant.

His brother Iapetus, the Titan of Mortality, was the first to foresee what was coming.

He came before the King of the Titans and spoke in a grave voice:

"Brother, beware. Your children… they are different. They carry the will of the world itself. If you let them live, they will overthrow you."

A shadow fell over Kronos' face.

He had once slain his own father to take the throne. Now, he feared that his own children would do the same to him.

And so, he made a decision.

"If my children will bring my downfall, then they will never see the light of day."

One by one, as soon as Rhea gave birth, Kronos devoured his children.

First Hades—the child of the underworld.

Then Poseidon—the child of the sea.

Then Zeus—the child of the sky.

Rhea, powerless before her husband, watched in horror as her children were stolen from her.

The cycle continued.

The Usurper had become the new Tyrant.

But fate could not be denied.

Through the deception of Rhea and the help of Gaia, Zeus was hidden away and raised in secret.

When the time came, he returned with his brothers, freed from Kronos' stomach.

A great war—the Titanomachy—shook the heavens.

Zeus wielded lightning, the raw power of the world itself.

Poseidon controlled the seas, reclaiming his inheritance from Pontus.

Hades commanded the dead, turning the spirits of the fallen against the Titans.

And in the end—Kronos was defeated.

His own weapon, the Scythe of Time, was turned against him.

Zeus severed his father's rule just as Kronos had once severed Uranos.

And with that, the age of the Titans ended.

A new pantheon of gods had risen. Soon the three Gods who defeated Kronos made a game to decide who will be the new God King.

All three decided to use straws to decide who will become the new King of The Gods. Whoever take the longest straw shall become the new God King.

With Zeus proposal, all three gods decided to use Metis the goddess of Wisdom as the referee for this game. This very act was the cause of Zeus becoming the new God King. For Metis was Zeus's Lover.

Due to Metis, the throne of God King goes to Zeus. The moment Zeus sat on the throne as a GodKing. The world shook as countless lighting struck the earth and the sea.

The world Cheered as the world was once again perfected. This is due to the characteristic of a GodKing. Those who became a GodKing will have their concept elevated by a bit. Just like how the sky of Uranus gain life allowing him to see the path of becoming a primordial by giving birth to children. Just like how Kronos as the god of Time and Space made time fully flow across the world. Now Zeus's lighting have gain the characteristic of destruction and purification.

Zeus with his new Authority knew that if Kronos fully dies then time will no longer flow naturally. Some will flow faster and some will flow slower. And so Zeus use the corpse of Kronos to create the river of time and trapped Kronos's soul into it. Since then there is a river of time that allow the world to always flow naturally.

Zeus trapped the surviving twelve titans into Tartatus
