[MC POV]
It's been five days so far meeting Bella and Charlie where interesting Charlie was a good guy reserved, reliable and loving. Bella on the other hand was broken soul surviving but not living she was truly pitiful, yet I could understand. If I lost Kate, I would still live on because the pack but in a scenario without the pack it's just me and Kate and I lost her I probably be broken.
At least Bella was interested in us that it easy I could tell she already knew Kate was vampire, but she was also curious about us. When did not standout in the way vampires did but we were still predators our appearance was meant to draw in humans. She was probably trying to figure out how to approach Hailey about it that was good because she also closes to learning what was Jacob.
I would have to be careful with how I would handle things with the Quileute trib those little wolfs could be irrational, but they would be helpful to my cause. I make sure to try and negotiate with them if necessary, a show of force. A benefit to the Cullens being gone was using their territory to hunt now the trib want to be able to pick up our scent.
I heard Jacob has been sick lately Hailey mention Bella wanted to go see him that was good the plot was progressing nicely I planned to take advantage of every moment of it.
''Do you want to go by Bella house today'' said a naked Kate as she lay on top of me.
''No, we will stop by her house tomorrow'' I said.
''Shall we fuck all day'' asked Kate in a teasing voice.
''Do even have to ask'' I said as I start to kiss her.
[Hailey POV]
Why did this girl go own a hike without me thank God for my werewolf senses it made following her easy. I really wish I could rip Edward Cullen a part that jack ass leaves Bella claiming as protection that bastard luckily Bella still loves him.
Before I could continue with my thoughts I heard something that was moving faster than any normal thing should be. I heard it in the same location as Bella as soon I realised this I took off running as I approached, I could hear them talking.
''Hi William'' I heard Bella say happily which confused me.
''Bella, I didn't expect to see you here I was just at the Cullen house it was empty I figured they would have taken them aren't you their little pet do the Cullens every visit'' the now named William asked.
''Yes, they do I'm sure they be back soon'' said Bella as her heartbeat sped up.
''Really the house smelled so vacant like they haven't been here in months'' said William.
''Oh, well I tell Carlisle you came by next time I see him he'll be so excited to know that you were here I want mention this encounter to Edward he still a little touchy over the James incident'' said Bella.
''Oh, really is he'' I hear him say as he gets closer.
''Yea how are things in Denali'' asked Bella.
''I wouldn't know I never been there only Laurent went I was never interested in the Cullen way of life I just fain interest, so I didn't have to their coven I'm not a fool like James'' said William.
''Oh, are you sure don't judge it before you tire it have you heard from Victoria'' asked Bella nervously?
''I have in fact she the reason why I came to this place she won't be happy'' he said.
''She won't be happy about you'' asked Bella?
''No she won't be happy that I'm not saving you for her you see she's very upset with your mate Edward the one that destroyed James he was Victoria's mate and so in her mind it's an eye for eye situation he got rid her mate now she wants to get rid of his mate and now I have found you'' he stated.
At this point I started taking off my cloths preparing to transform.
''She will be very anger with me for doing this, but you caught me at a bad time the reasons I'm in the woods is because I'm hunting, I'm very thirsty at the moment and smell so good'' he said.
''They will know it was you that did this they'll come for you'' said Bella in a panic.
''I doubt it the smell will wash away with the rain but don't worry it's not personal I'm just thirsty'' he said.
Before else could be said I jumped out the blushes fully transformed my surprise attack worked I scratched him across the chest sending him flying. I made sure to position myself Infront of Bella he stands up looking angered and terrified at me.
Before I could charge again, I stop I heard something approach it caught the vampire attention we both started to back away. I saw a huge figure that was as bigger than a bear it was wolf covered in all black fur that reminded me of Andrew.
There were multiple other wolves behind it they were forming a v-shape formation the black one starts to charge at me. On instant I swung my arm hitting the large wolf sending it back where it was then I took off going in a opposite direction of the vampire.
This must be the Quileute trib Andrew mention I couldn't afford to seriously injure one of them it was bad enough they saw me while transformed. At least Bella was safe I have to escape and tell Andrew about this dammit I left my cloths I thought bitterly.
[Bella POV]
Omg what was that werewolf? Why did it save me? What were those other things? I need to get home fast.
[Hailey POV]
I finally got away from those damn dogs are fast luckily, I got back before Bella now I was eating with Charlie waiting for Bella to return it seemed I was about to get my wish.
''Charlie, I know you told me not to go in the woods, but I did anyway and I ran into the creature it's not a bear it's a giant wolf and there not just one there are many of them'' said Bella in panic.
''What! Why the hell did you go to the woods'' asked Charlie flustered.
''Oh, my god Bella are you alright'' I asked?
''I'm going to handle this you stay here know more woods Hailey you watch Bella'' said Charlie.
''Of course, uncle see you later'' I said.
By the way I saw Jacob at the convenience I said he was sick, but he seems heathy now he looked so different hes huge now I don't how he got that tall it kinda reminded of Hailey's friends'' said Charlie before he left.
''Oh'' said Bella clearly dumbfounded.
Hour Later
''Hailey, I need go to Jacob house I have to see him'' said Bella as she grabs her keys.
''You're not going without me in fact I'll drive give me your keys'' I said.
''You don't have to that I can manage'' said Bella weakly.
''Im not hearing I'm coming'' I said with finality.
It didn't take too long to get here once we were here my nose was immediately hit with the smell of wolf piss it was so bad I wanted to turn back and leave. Jacob wasn't back yet so Bella got out and decide to wait for him while I stayed in the car luckily, we didn't have to wait long. When Jacob I was surprised, he was tall, taller than Nate but not as tall as Andrew dad really wasn't exaggerating.
''Look I know I said Sam was a jerk, but I was wrong he trying to helpand if you want someone to blame you should blame the blood suckers that you love so much'' he said aggressively.
''What are you talking about'' asked Bella alamerd.
''You what I mean I'm talking about the Cullens'' he said.
''They left over six months ago how can we be blaming them instead of Sam'' asked Bella?
''Sam isn't doing anything to me and they may have left but they set everything in motion'' argued Jacob.
''What are you even blaming them for'' asked Bella ?
''Existing'' he said bluntly.
''Are you breaking with me'' asked Bella sounding panic.
''If that were the case I say let's just be friends'' said Jacob.
''Look I'm sorry if you feel like I lead you on but don't go'' said Bella.
''It's not you it's me'' he said before leaving.
