The two of them had a drink together and then prepared to leave. Mifune's alcohol tolerance was good, and he didn't get drunk even after many drinks. However, the roads in Konoha were complicated, and he might not be able to find his way back. Torifu could only send him back to the apartment and then went home alone.
Mifune's sudden visit was a bit of a surprise to Torifu, but he was still very happy. After all, they had met when they were children, and meeting again now was a kind of destiny. Torifu was very satisfied to see that he was also walking on the right path.
When he got home, Minato, Yahiko, and Konan were sitting at the door waiting for him.
"Big Brother! You're back!"

The three children kept asking questions. Torifu could only answer them one by one. "Yes, I'm home. I was just entertaining some friends from far away, so I couldn't come home earlier."

"Just refine your chakra for the next two days. If you don't have enough chakra, you can't learn anything else."
The two children nodded and then followed Torifu back to the yard.
"Konoha has guests, so Sensei might be busy these days and may not have time to be with you. You two should stay at home and refine your chakra properly. When the guests leave, I'll continue to teach you new things."
Konan and Yahiko said with a smile, "Okay, Sensei, don't worry. We'll definitely train hard."
These two children were well-behaved, which saved Torifu a lot of worry. "Alright, you two go back and play now. I'm going to chat with your big brother."
"Okay, Sensei, big brother."
With that, the two of them went back into the house. It had just gotten dark, and it was still a long time before bedtime.
"Did you go on a mission again today?"
Minato nodded. "But it was just a simple mission. The bandits in the vicinity have all been cleared out. I don't know when I can take on a higher-level mission."
Minato was clearly not very satisfied with the daily tasks of catching cats and running errands, but he didn't say it out loud; he was just venting.
Torifu patted Minato's shoulder. "You can take on missions on your own when you become a Chunin. Your current strength is still far from that. You should wait another year or two."

Minato nodded. "Okay, Big Brother!"
Torifu smiled and then asked, "How's your Flying Thunder God training? Is it still stagnant?"

Torifu touched his head. "That's normal. Don't be too anxious. You have to contemplate more instead of just practicing. Mechanical practice alone won't do you any good when it comes to learning the Flying Thunder God."
Minato replied, "Okay, Big Brother, I understand. I've also been trying to contemplate, just as you said, but I haven't figured out anything yet."

Yahiko rubbed his stomach. "I'm a little hungry, Sensei."
Torifu smiled, then walked to Minato and called him. "Let's go, Minato. Let's eat together."
Minato stopped what he was doing. "Wait for me, Big Brother. I'm going to change my clothes."
"No rush, no rush."
The two little ones sat by Torifu's door, waiting for Minato to change so they could go eat breakfast together. Although they had only been here for a few days, they had already gained some weight, and their faces had become a little rounder. After slowly adapting to life here, their personalities had also become more cheerful. This was something Torifu was happy to see. Otherwise, it would be awful for such young children to be bitter and resentful all the time.
Not long after, Minato changed his clothes. His white robe went well with his yellow hair.
"Alright, let's go."
