Ashina was clearly still not used to his current physical condition and didn't know how to thank Torifu. Such a valuable item was given to him for free. Ashina couldn't figure out why. He needed to find a chance to ask Torifu, or his heart would never settle down.
"Now that you're young again, are you planning to take Kushina back to Uzushiogakure?"
Ashina thought for a while, but finally shook his head. "Forget it. Kushina can receive the best education here, has the best friends, and the most comfortable life. Why return to that small place?" If they returned to Uzushiogakure, they might have to go through internal strife or a struggle for the throne, just like back then. Ashina didn't want Kushina to get involved in those troubles. It was enough for her to live such a peaceful and harmonious life in Konoha.
Although Ashina was younger now, only his body had become younger. His mind and soul were still the same as before. So, he didn't plan to return to the Land of Whirlpools to continue being the clan head or the Daimyō. It was good enough to live with his old friends in Konoha. As for his own children, he would let them make their own way.
Tobirama nodded when he heard this. This was naturally the best idea. They could continue to drink and eat meat together, and they didn't have to worry about the village's affairs anymore. These old guys just needed to be happy and enjoy themselves every day.
"Big Brother and I were worried you would go back. We've been thinking about how to persuade you all these days, but we didn't expect you to have truly let go."
Ashina sighed when he heard this. "I thought that under my protection, the Uzumaki Clan would flourish, and my sons would support each other to make the Uzumaki Clan better and better."
"Unfortunately, things didn't go as planned, and I even lost a son. Although I say I'm not in pain, that was my own child, whom I raised from a young age."
A melancholy expression filled Ashina's face. "I still think the same way. I've dedicated my whole life to the Land of Whirlpools. It's time for me to live for myself." More than anything, he wanted to stay away from that sorrowful place and those troubles. Ashina felt much more relaxed after stepping down as the clan head and Daimyō.
Tobirama knew what his old brother was thinking, so he patted his shoulder. "Don't think about those things. Look forward. Your mission now is to raise Kushina well."
"Hahaha, of course I know that. This precious granddaughter of mine is my everything. No one can bully her." Tobirama suddenly remembered seeing Kushina riding on a classmate and beating them up at school once. How could anyone bully a fiery little pepper like her? But he never mentioned it to Ashina.
The two of them sat by the door and chatted for a whole afternoon without even taking a nap. But even so, Ashina still felt energetic. His body in his forties was indeed strong.
They didn't realize how long they had been chatting until Minato was ready to go home.
"Well, Grandpa Ashina, Grandpa Tobirama, Kushina, I'll be going now. Goodbye."
"Good. Don't play around on the way and go home quickly."
Minato agreed and quickly returned to the Kumotsuru Clan Compound. Along the way, he tried to use the Space-Time movement method that Tobirama taught him. However, probably due to lack of proficiency, he could only shift forward a short distance. But Minato was not discouraged and returned to the Kumotsuru Clan Compound.
When he walked into the courtyard, he saw Yahiko and Konan concentrating on their training, and Big Brother seemed to be getting ready to go out. He was wearing very formal clothes and even had his hair arranged. Big Brother usually didn't dress up like this. Something important must be happening.
"Big Brother, I'm back. Where are you going?"
Hearing Minato's voice, Torifu looked towards the door and saw Minato standing outside. "Oh, Minato, you're back. I'm going out to spend time with your Sister Naori. I might not be back until late."
It was close to what Minato had guessed. It seemed that what Big Brother had said that day was true and he wasn't tricking them.
"So you won't be back for dinner tonight either?"
Torifu nodded. "I probably won't be back. Don't wait for me. If you or Yahiko and the others are hungry, just go out to eat."
"Okay."
Minato still had many questions in his heart, but seeing that Big Brother seemed to be in a hurry, he didn't ask. The main thing was Ashina's age reversal. But Minato wasn't sure if Torifu would tell him. Such things should be a secret.
Soon, Torifu was fully dressed and left the Kumotsuru Clan Compound, during which he warned Minato not to let Yahiko and Konan train for too long, as yesterday was truly frightening.
After leaving the compound, Torifu headed to the Uchiha Clan Compound. Torifu transformed into a cloud of mist and flew directly to the Uchiha gate. When the guards saw Torifu, they didn't need to ask his purpose. They immediately bowed and then turned to go back into the compound to announce his arrival.
A moment later, Naori walked out. She was a little surprised to see Torifu dressed so formally. "What are you going to do? Why are you dressed like this?"
Torifu smiled. "What? Is it strange?"
"It's not strange, but it's rare to see you wear this outfit. It looks quite good, though."
Torifu was naturally happy to be complimented. Then he snapped his fingers and said to Naori, "Let's go. I'm taking you somewhere."
Naori was a little confused. "Where are we going? Is it a very important occasion?"
Torifu thought for a moment. A proposal should be considered a very important occasion, so he nodded.
"Then I need to change my clothes. These are what I usually wear at home."
"Okay, I'll wait for you."
Naori kissed Torifu on the forehead, then smiled and said, "Wait for me, okay? I promise to look stunning in a moment."
Torifu knew that Naori might have misunderstood and thought he was taking her to some important evening party. But Torifu didn't plan to correct her. It was better to let her misunderstand. It could be a surprise.
After about twenty minutes, Naori walked out of the compound. She had changed into a pure white gauze dress. Torifu had never seen Naori wear this dress before. It made him a little stunned.
Naori walked up to Torifu and waved her hand. "What? Does it not look good?"
Torifu shook his head. "No, how could that be? I can only say it looks incredibly beautiful. Why haven't I seen you wear it before?"
Naori linked her arm with Torifu's. "You like to wear white, don't you? I bought this specifically to match you."
