Chapter 486 - Chapter 485: Setting Up the Wedding Hall

In Torifu's heart, their standing was only slightly lower than Naori's.

"Haha, when are you going to find a partner, Amado? You're at that age."

Amado thought for a moment. "We'll see. I have my own goals I'm pursuing right now. Marriage can wait."

Since Amado said so, Torifu couldn't pressure him anymore. Everything was up to Amado to manage. All Torifu could do was quietly support him. That was the meaning of family.

After dinner, Minato and Yahiko cleaned the dishes and emptied the kitchen trash. Afterward came a period of post-dinner relaxation. Torifu was still lying on the chair, enjoying the evening breeze. It was very cool, the kind of breeze that quickly made a person sleepy.

Yahiko and Konan sat around Minato, watching him play Naruto. Under Minato's guidance, they had learned to play the game and often sought tips from Torifu. Torifu didn't forbid them from playing games; it wasn't a problem to relax for a while as long as it didn't interfere with their training.

Besides, the two children usually studied at school. It was only these few days, due to his wedding, that the entire Konoha Village was given a holiday, allowing them to play at home like this. The same was true for Minato; if it weren't for the wedding, he would likely be just returning home from a mission.

After eating, Amado returned to his lab to research the new electronics. The batch of blueprints Torifu had given him had greatly piqued his interest. He was almost working day and night, forgetting to eat and sleep, to develop this batch of electronics. However, since Torifu's wedding was happening in the next few days, which he had to attend, his progress was slightly slowed. Nonetheless, he was confident he could manufacture all these electronics within two months. He would then use the replicator to produce a batch for testing to see if any issues arose.

The sky grew darker, and it was time to rest. The bright streetlights in the night of Konoha Village illuminated the entire village, guiding some people on their way home.

The next day at eight in the morning, Torifu awoke from his sleep. After washing up and getting dressed, he lay back on the lounge chair by the door and began to enjoy the breeze. Soon, the Cloud Palace would reappear before the villagers. He wondered if they would be surprised. After all, the structure hadn't been seen by them for four years. And now it was reappearing as a wedding hall? Even Torifu hadn't initially imagined it could be used this way. He was also curious what expressions the Kage of the other villages would have when they saw the Cloud Palace descend. He figured they would be very surprised.

Torifu took out his phone and called the owner. After about two rings, the call was connected. "Hello, Hokage-sama! Are you preparing to ascend to the heavens now?"

Torifu chuckled. "What ascend to the heavens? I'm going to set up the wedding venue. How are the preparations on your side?"

"Everything is ready. The part-time workers we hired are all very enthusiastic. They're very eager to see your wedding venue."

"Good. Tell them to prepare to head to the wedding hall in one hour." "Understood!"

The owner was truly a very loyal and highly capable person. He could handle such a complicated task in a well-organized manner. This was certainly not something an ordinary person could achieve.

Minato, who was doing his morning training, heard what Torifu had just said and felt a surge of excitement. An hour from now—it was eight o'clock—meant they would see where Big Brother's wedding hall was at nine o'clock. "Did Big Brother just say something about 'ascending to the heavens'? Could it be in the sky?"

Minato looked up at the sky, seeing nothing but scattered clouds. He hadn't thought about the Cloud Palace at all because he had completely forgotten about it. He had forgotten even the description Torifu gave on the day of his inauguration. If Minato had forgotten, how could the villagers possibly remember? Only people like Hashirama and Tobirama, who paid attention to every detail in the village, would remember. After all, it was a device that monitored all of Konoha Village.

"Minato, remember to wake Yahiko and Konan in a while to watch. There will be a surprise."

"Is Big Brother planning to leave now?"

Torifu nodded. "Yes. I need to meet up with the owner and arrange the food for tomorrow's guests. Food for tens of thousands of people is a real headache."

Food for tens of thousands of people was too much for a person to carry; they would have to rely on Torifu's Space Ring. Since the space within the ring was infinite, it could hold any amount of items without ever being full. It was perfect for transport.

"Got it, Big Brother, don't worry. They'll definitely be awake by the time your wedding hall appears." Yahiko and Konan were usually already up, and he didn't know why they were sleeping in today. But Torifu didn't have time to worry about them. After tidying his clothes, he walked toward the owner's barbecue shop. The food must be piled up in his shop or other nearby stores. Torifu needed to retrieve it first.

Arriving at the storefront, he indeed saw many large sacks through the glass door. Torifu immediately pushed the door open and stored all the sacks into his Space Ring.

The owner heard the noise downstairs and quickly rushed down. "Hokage-sama, you're here so early! Why didn't you let me know so I could greet you?"

Torifu waved his hand. "Greet me? You couldn't possibly leave the shop. You didn't sleep in your office all night, did you?"

The owner chuckled, scratching his head. "Well, I had to ensure everything was perfect! After all, these things are essential for your wedding, and I've been preparing for a long time. I couldn't let them spoil."

"It had to be you, my most trusted owner."

Torifu then asked, "Where are the others? When are they gathering?"

"They'll be gathering at the door at half-past eight. It's only been fifteen minutes; they should be here soon."

Sure enough, shortly after the owner spoke, people began greeting them from the shop's doorway. The crowd grew larger, reaching about a thousand people. With over three thousand tables in total, three tables per person was enough, and there was no need to worry about their stamina.

Once everyone had gathered, Torifu walked to the door and opened it. "Greetings, everyone! I believe you all know your mission for today, yes?"

A few of the leading villagers immediately replied, "Of course, Hokage-sama! It is our honor to take on this mission!" The other villagers all chimed in their agreement.

Torifu smiled. "The honor is mine, actually. Alright, no more chatter. Let's take a short break. We leave at nine o'clock."
