Chapter 592 - Chapter 591: Dinner Gathering

Torifu didn't offer too many opinions on the matter. After all, it was their lives, and how they lived them was for them to decide. Even if he told them what to do, the young couple might not listen, so he simply spared himself the trouble.

"If there's nothing else, come inside. It'll get cold out soon."

Torifu said to the two of them, then greeted a few of the younger generation, and finally went inside. Just as Hashirama had said, as soon as Torifu entered, he heard Tobirama and Ashina's shouts. The game seemed to be progressing very intensely, in full swing, with Hashirama cheering them on from the side. Torifu watched silently from the side, feeling completely unable to join in the fiery enthusiasm of these two old men.

Three minutes later, Tobirama shouted triumphantly, "I won! Ashina, you old rascal!"

The defeated Ashina seemed very indignant but could do nothing about it; this was a single-round decider. "Ah, I lost, I lost. I was so close."

The three brothers had lived together for so many years that they no longer had the stiffness they felt when they first reunited. Back then, Tobirama used to call Ashina "Big Brother Ashina," but now he directly called him "Ashina, you old rascal."

"Nonsense! I clearly beat you with skill; it had nothing to do with luck. What do you mean 'so close'?" Tobirama said with a proud expression.

Torifu didn't know what their wager was, or perhaps there was no wager at all, just a desire to determine a winner.

"Oh, Torifu, you're here! I didn't even notice. I was so engrossed just now. Come, sit down." Upon seeing Torifu, Tobirama immediately invited him to sit down. "By the way, when can Amado's bicycle be mass-produced? I want to buy one!"

Torifu smiled slightly, "It'll be ready in two or three months. No need to rush. If you really can't wait, I can give you one to ride around with for now."

Tobirama waved his hand, "No rush, no rush."

The three old men were all seated on the sofa, while Naori and Mito were busy in the kitchen. The sound of the range hood prevented them from hearing the commotion in the living room.

Hashirama then got straight to the point. "Torifu, this Kekkei Genkai Fruit doesn't have any side effects that prevent one from having children, does it?"

Torifu was momentarily stunned. What kind of question was that?

"Master, you're just worrying needlessly. Dan only ate that fruit this morning. What does that have to do with having children?"

Hashirama knew his question was a bit off-topic, so he scratched his head and laughed heartily.

Tobirama glanced at his elder brother helplessly. "Dan ate the Kekkei Genkai Fruit and gained a Kekkei Genkai, so does that mean Yahiko also obtained his Kekkei Genkai this way?"

Torifu didn't deny it but affirmed directly, "Yes, Yahiko also gained his Kekkei Genkai this way, and there have been no side effects so far."

In fact, Torifu had originally intended to use it as well, but he already possessed Cloud Release, Crystal Release, and Ice Release – three types. If he added another ability, it would become too chaotic, which would hinder his development of ninjutsu and training. It would also change his previous fighting style. So Torifu chose not to eat it.

It was the same as Naori's choice. Naori felt that developing the Sharingan was already a time- and energy-consuming endeavor. If she gained another unknown Kekkei Genkai, she would definitely have to spend a great deal of time developing it. Moreover, the Sharingan was already a top-tier Kekkei Genkai, and Naori herself believed it was the strongest, so there was no reason for her to acquire other Kekkei Genkai.

"Hmm, Yahiko is naturally optimistic and straightforward, much like Big Brother's personality. He will definitely achieve great things in the future."

Because he specialized in Water Release, Yahiko had often sought Tobirama to learn ninjutsu, even picking up some of the jutsu Tobirama had developed. He even performed secondary development on them, turning them into his own techniques. This alone had greatly impressed Tobirama, and now with a Kekkei Genkai, his future was limitless.

Torifu waved his hand. "Haha, that's enough, Tobirama-sama. We know you're fond of Yahiko, but Dan is the protagonist today."

Tobirama nodded, then slowly said, "Dan has already told us about the effects of Scorch Release. It's a very powerful ninjutsu, but it also consumes a good amount of chakra. Spirit Transformation combined with Scorch Release results in enormous chakra consumption." He continued, "Once chakra is depleted on the battlefield, one is at the mercy of others. So, while it seemingly compensates for one weakness, it also creates another."

The chakra issue could still be improved; one simply needed to consume more herbs that increase chakra reserves, and Torifu had many of them. So he didn't think it was a problem. "There's no need to fear that; I have my own way to resolve it."

Seeing Torifu's confidence, Tobirama felt relieved. Dan was Tsunade's husband. If anything unexpected happened, Tobirama couldn't imagine how heartbroken Tsunade would be. So he could only bring up all the potential problems first, then gradually amend and deal with them.

The three of them had only been chatting for a short while when Tsunade entered, bringing Dan with her. Minato, Kushina, Yahiko, and Konan also came in with them. Fortunately, the living room was large enough to accommodate such a large group of people.

"Grandpa, what were you talking about? Why did you stop talking as soon as I came in?"

Hashirama patted Tsunade's head. "Nothing much. Just talking about when you'll let Grandpa hold a great-grandchild."

Tsunade's expression changed almost instantly, causing Hashirama to burst into laughter. Tsunade then realized Hashirama was teasing her.

"Hahaha, you two young ones can figure out your own affairs. Anyway, this old man lives a long time, so I'll get to hold one eventually."

Hearing this, Tsunade's smile returned. "Thank you, Grandpa!"

As the whole family was chatting, Naori came out carrying a dish. This was the first stew to come out of the pot, a recipe Mito had learned from Torifu. Originally, Mito just wanted to learn some dishes Torifu liked to eat, and she would, of course, eat them with him every time she made them. Over time, even her own taste in food had been influenced by Torifu. Now, stew had become a daily dish for the Senju clan, while sashimi and such were rarely seen. According to Torifu, eating raw food could lead to illness and was bad for one's health.

Naori, who couldn't hear anything in the kitchen, was startled when she suddenly saw such a large group of people upon coming out. "Well, look at that, everyone's here! Perfect, dinner will be ready soon." Then Naori said to Torifu, "Akihara is clinging to the kitchen, trying to sneak food. Please take him out; I'm too busy here."

Torifu, having received the order, immediately slipped into the kitchen and soon emerged carrying a child. The child's clothes were already covered in grease, and his cheeks were stained with sauce; he had been eating with utter abandon. When Torifu carried him out, he was still gnawing on a bone.
