But then there's no voice. There's no response to Yami. So Yami then slowly walks ahead and says.
"Are you afraid now, you moron?"
Then they could hear Lucien replying to them. But not in the same voice as before. But hearing at that, Hana and Yami could see that Lucien was just typing the word and some voices were saying what he was typing.
"You bastard. This is not the end yet. I will continue to make you suffer and claim my prisoner princess. The person whose love belongs to me."
Yami wanted to counter it back, but then he could see a shadow forming an anomaly in front of him. It was a really big figure. It looks like an ogre. They could see its flesh on its left side. It's hands also have no skin. But they could see a blade attached to it.
It looks at Yami then Hana. But when it looked at Hana, it then smiled and let out its tongue and cleaned its own lips. But looking at that gesture, it doesn't make Hana afraid of it. So she then stood bravely there and got ready for whatever would happen.
The ogre then swings its left arm where it extends and goes towards Hana. But Yami then takes out his sword and parries it. Yami then quickly dashed towards the ogre and took out his shotgun to shoot its left arm. But the monster then swings its right arm towards the direction Yami is about to go in full power. That creates the wind that pushes Yami back.
Yami blocked the wind and smiled as he was backed up a bit by that. He then says "That's a great wind you know. The cold almost makes me calm. But that was not enough." The ogre then laughed and then told Yami that he was really good at baiting people and it praised Yami for that. But he is afraid that it might be the last time Yami could do so.
Yami then just got entertained as he heard that and he then told that ogre to show him. His last dance. Because he would like to see it himself. Yami then asked the ogre "Should I dance with a gun or a blade? Which performance do you want to to see?"
The Ogre didn't answer it and it then made a loud roar out.
"ROAAR!"
Chapter 16
-_The Knights Of H0pe_-
The monster extends its left arm again and swings it on the ground hard, which caused the bridge in front of the castle to get cracked, and with that rage, it then dashed towards Yami.
Hana wanted to use a spell but Yami extended his arm and stopped her from doing so. Yami told Hana that it must be something that the ogre are waiting for. Because a single spell from Hana could break the bridge and cause them to fall under that bridge where they never know what's beneath. It must be a trap. So Yami then says to Hana.
"Just watch how a man fights its threat. You just stand back and be a good girl."
Hana then just flushed as Yami said that. She then said in a blush that she was not a child. Which it makes Yami smile. But Yami then focused on the monster.
"Swoosh!"
Yami dashed towards the monster and slashed his sword, which left a scar on the monster's body. But of course that was not enough. The monster then quickly countered the attack and caused Yami to get blown by it. But Yami held his stance and quickly threw that sword towards the monster, then said.
"Well, I'm not as good at sword as him. You better keep that by yourself because-"
Yami pulled out a high-powered gun and he then aimed at the monster and shot the monster continuously. He began to run around the monster and continuously shot the monster. The monster did get damaged by it. But that wasn't enough to stop him. The monster could roar and spin around as its left arm could be extended and about to leash Yami with its tied arm.
Yami couldn't make it in time, and he then got blown by that attack. But Yami still managed to hold himself from falling and then shot towards the monster. The bullet hits its arm and chest. But the monster didn't stop by that attack. The monster then continued to roar and make another move as it dashed towards Yami.
Yami was out of space to run from that attack as he was at the edge of the bridge. It's either he faces the attack or he falls to the lake. Yami then saw the monster's legs open, and he then decided to shoot its leg but none of his bullets could damage it. Which it makes him weird. So he then quickly dashed to the right as the monsters were going towards him.
He then talked by himself.
"Darn it. This ass sure is sure hard."
Yami then takes out a bomb and scattered it on the floor as he ran. The monster keeps following him and is eager to take him out. The bomb that Yami scattered around also got blown away by the speed of the monster. But as they keep going, the bomb ahead of the monster exploded before he could even blow them away. That caused the ground to get damaged by it and it began to shake.
As the explosion ended, the monster began to search for Yami. But all of his vision is filled with a smoke and he couldn't see anything.
The monster roared once again and that was when it got a shot from a different direction. But this time, the shot seems to be affecting it a lot. The monster was so weird by it. Plus, the smoke seems to be for too long there. Which makes it curious about it and filled itself with a rage. But before the monster could get raged by it. Suddenly a magic circle appeared below it and the fire began to appear causing the monster to get burned by it. But the monster didn't get stopped by that. It then began to walk forward. But that was when it saw there was a shiny dust on the smoke, and before it could even find a way out, suddenly a big explosion triggered that happened there.
The monster roared loud as his body got burned by that. But by that effect, suddenly the bridge slowly cracked and fell apart. Yami and Hana also follow the monster as it falls. All three of them then fell to the lake.
But as their body touched the water of the lake, suddenly the place changed and they all then fell inside the castle. Or a place that looks like a coliseum. Yami and Hana didn't fall too far from each other, and they then stood up together as they didn't feel much pain from that drop.
They both stood up and then saw the monsters all burned to death. It's body is slowly turning into a dust. However, that was when they saw a message in the sky.
"It's not over yet. It is a time for the true showtime now. Don't forget to entertain me."
Yami and Hana then saw a golden melted clay begin to climb the monster body and it began to merge with the monster. Hana quickly cast a fireball and charged it towards the monster. But the golden melted clay shielded the monster and that caused all of that attack to be meaningless. Yami also tried to get into the monster blind spot to shoot it from there. But that doesn't affect it too much. So the monster then began to transform by merging itself with the unknown Golden entity.
Yami and Hana try to attack it to maybe buy some time or cancel the transformation. But all of their effort became a waste as it all got blocked by that unknown entity.
Slowly, the transformation then completed, and they could see the monster's half body that was supposed to be skinless is now covered with a spiky golden armor. Half of its face also got covered by the gold material.
The monster then roared loudly and swung its golden hand toward Yami and Hana that caused the golden spike to get detached and go towards Hana and Yami.
Of course none of them prepared for that move. They shielded themselves with their arms and that caused all of them to get scratched by that. The blood came out from that scratch and caused them to get hurt by that.
"Argh!"
A blood slowly tears down from the scratch. But that doesn't make Hana and Yami down. They both continue to stand with all of that damage and get ready to fight with the monster. Hana then cast a healing magic that healed their wounds, and with that, Hana then took out a red-colored sword and passed it to Yami. Yami then took the sword and he then asked Hana what that was for. Then Hana then smirked and said.
"I thought you might be better at swords than Aikari. As someone who is equal to him. Don't you think you should be ashamed of yourself for that?"
Yami grits his teeth as he hears that. He just couldn't believe just how jerk Hana can be. But he then just held the sword up and said to Hana.
"If you think, I'm that weak. Then let me show you what kind of possibility that I have."
Yami then used both of his hands to hold the sword and that was when Hana realized just how different a way that Yami and Aikari used to hold the sword.
Aikari just used one hand to battle with a sword. While Yami is using both of his hands to hold the sword.
Aikari are using the sword like a normal swordsman does. Balancing himself and even love to create more openings. While it seems like Yami is using a stance that looks more like a warrior that uses samurai. And it seems like Yami would rather dash towards its enemy rather than waiting for a chance.
Yami got into his stance and then quickly dashed towards the monster. But the monster just extended the spikes on his arm and then went to hit Yami with the spiky arm. But Yami then steps aside from the way he is rushing through and then hits the monster body.
The sword is strong enough to even go through the monster body. But it doesn't affect the monster much. So the monster then tried to grab Yami in anger to smack him. But Hana then cast a lava ball that hit the monster's face and melted. The monster got blinded by that and it roared out loud. Instead of grabbing Yami, the monster quickly tried to wipe the lava off its face. So that then gave Yami a chance to pull the sword up back and he quickly gave it a strong side slash before he stepped back to make some distance.
As the monster wiped the lava off his face, Hana could see that the gold armor on it began to get decayed and that then made her wonder if she should take an opportunity from that. But before she could think of a way to take an advantage, the monster then grabbed the nearby boulder and then threw it towards Hana.
Hana then quickly dodged the boulder and Yami then dashed towards the monster once again. He was about to leave the scratch on the monster but the monster could see through their plan and quickly interrupt Yami from attacking.
As when Yami stepped back to avoid from getting hit, the monster saw that he was near and then quickly swung its arm towards Yami to damage him.
Yami got blown away by that and a blood dropped out from his mouth.
Hana saw it and she then began to worry about it. But she then saw Yami stand up and licked the blood. As soon as Yami did so, Hana then saw him smiling. Which makes her wonder if Yami was Aikari but a psychopath.
So Yami then stood up again and got into his stance, then said.
"Since you chose a bloody festival. Then, why don't we make it bloody more? You gold chunk."
