Knowing she suggested bathing together so recklessly only because she was drunk, Ye Cheng uncharacteristically didn't frown. He walked to the bathtub to adjust the water temperature for her.
"You're agreeing to bathe with me?" Seeing him running the bathwater, Zimei stumbled and stopped behind him, a joyful smile playing at her lips.
Ye Cheng glanced back at her and spoke blandly, "Once the water's ready, I'm leaving."
"We're both adults, are you getting shy?" Zimei covered her mouth and laughed coyly.
The woman's eyes were dreamy yet clear as she gazed at him seductively. Ye Cheng paused for a moment, turned away, and stayed silent.
Zimei was completely different when drunk, shedding her usual assertiveness and appearing as an adorable young girl. Faced with this, Ye Cheng found himself somewhat at a loss.
Seeing Ye Cheng's silence, Zimei wobbled and said, "Alright then, I'll just bathe by myself."
With that, she began to take off her nightgown.
