Yan Lv absentmindedly thought about it, and just thinking about what she was currently researching made him feel nauseous. Carefully considering his relationship with Mu Sha, many of his thoughts had changed.
Jin Jing didn't say anything more. Seeing Yan Lv's distracted appearance, he switched to another topic. They chatted for less than half an hour before going their separate ways.
Mu Sha was too exhausted; after coming home from the lab, she barely managed to freshen up before collapsing onto the bed and falling asleep.
After meeting with Jin Jing, Yan Lv had different thoughts. He had never longed for marriage, and he married his wife Mu Sha largely due to their elders' wishes. It was never wholehearted, and coupled with the nature of Mu Sha's job, they were often more apart than together.
"She came back?"
With doubt, Yan Lv changed into his slippers and headed straight to the slightly ajar bedroom.
