Jin Jing held the door, not letting Xu Jiaojiao leave, but her indifferent look wounded his self-esteem. Out of the blue, he asked, "Do you still want to continue this silent treatment with me?"

Xu Jiaojiao's words had a strange tone and questioning manner, which Jin Jing found unbearable as she pretended to be a stranger. Fueled with anger, he stormed out.
Xu Jiaojiao looked down the empty hallway, at the open door, clutching her chest for a long time before she could gather her thoughts. She knew clearly that if things went on, it might turn ugly. She didn't want to reach that stage with Jin Jing.
Her assistant helped Xu Jiaojiao put her luggage in the trunk, she put on her sunglasses, and closed her eyes wearily.
