The mall wasn't particularly crowded. The sparse crowd, combined with the high ceilings and exquisite decor, made the spacious and bright environment quite pleasant. Gu Shiting felt comfortable as he walked in.
They headed to the women's clothing section on the second floor. A well-dressed group of people was coming downstairs, seemingly two families shopping together.
Gu Shiting seemed a bit tense.
Sheng Tang noticed and gently held his hand.
Gu Shiting responded by holding her hand, and they quietly walked behind their parents.
Mrs. Gu glanced back, linking arms with her husband, and said softly, "Look at those two, don't they seem like a couple?"
Mr. Gu caught a glimpse out of the corner of his eye and whispered back to Mrs. Gu, "A very loving couple at that."
"Tangtang is eighteen now; in two years, they can get married," Mrs. Gu continued in a low voice. "The sooner we get her married to Ting, the sooner we can all feel at ease."
