The next morning, Sheng Tang woke up hungry.
She smelled the familiar scent of breakfast and immediately sat up.
Gu Jiahui was already sitting at the dining table, chatting casually with Cheng Lichuan while eating breakfast.
"Why didn't you call me for breakfast?" Sheng Tang pulled out a chair and sat down, picking up a bowl and scooping some corn porridge to drink.
Gu Jiahui swatted her hand away: "Go brush your teeth! You didn't shower last night."
"It's okay, I'll brush after I eat." Sheng Tang replied.
Gu Jiahui: "..."
Cheng Lichuan laughed from the side.
Sheng Tang drank several sips of porridge, feeling her whole body come to life, rejuvenated and full of energy—not like the half-dead state she was in when she came home yesterday.
"When did you get back?" Sheng Tang asked.
Gu Jiahui: "The evening flight. A friend of mine from Beijing happened to have an evening route, so I took his private jet back."
