[POV - Rito][Sainan - Yuuki House - Evening]

Whoooosh.

The sound of Gid's ship taking off echoed through the neighborhood like distant thunder, making windows tremble and dogs bark in panic. I watched from the garden as the royal ship rose toward the stars, taking the King and Queen Deviluke back to space.

Alone.

Well, technically alone.

Snicker.

I almost laughed out loud.

Because inside the house, hidden in Lala's room as if they were masters of deception, were Momo and Nana. Both thinking they had fooled everyone with that "clever" plan to stay behind.

Amateurs.

Amateurs.

Flashback - Two hours ago.

— Daddy, mommy — Momo had said in that innocent voice that would fool anyone. Anyone except someone who existed since before time. — Can we stay just a few more days? We want to get to know Earth better.

Gid had looked at me. I had looked at Gid. Silent communication that spoke volumes.

"Your daughters are planning something."

"I know."

"Will you let them?"

"Yes."

"Why?"

"Because they're my daughters and if they're going to cause trouble, I prefer it to be under your supervision than on some random planet."

Fair point.

End flashback.

Sigh.

I sighed, shaking my head with amusement. Momo thought she was so clever. And she was, compared to most people. But when you literally created the concept of "cleverness"...

Not so subtle.

Not as subtle as she thought.

Door open.

Creak.

The house door opened and Lala came out, that radiant smile a bit more... serious... than normal. She had that expression she used when thinking deeply about something.

Perceptive.

My fiancée was more perceptive than people gave her credit for.

— Rito-kun — she said, sitting beside me on the garden step — daddy talked about something serious with you, didn't he?

Direct.

Straight to the point. Typical of Lala when something really mattered.

— He did — I admitted. No point in lying. She deserved the truth.

Silence.

She was silent for a moment, looking at the same stars I had looked at with Gid.

— It's about war, isn't it? — she asked quietly. — About the other galactic empires.

Smart girl.

— Yes — I confirmed. — Your father is worried about three specific tyrants. Darkseid, Thanos, and Frieza.

Processing.

I saw when she processed the names. As a galactic princess, she had probably heard rumors about them.

— Are they... strong? — she asked, and there was real concern in her voice. Not for herself. For family. For friends. For me.

Cute.

It was almost cute how worried she was about me.

— They are powerful — I replied honestly. — Each of them is stronger than your father. Each of them has conquered thousands of worlds. Each of them represents an existential threat to entire galaxies.

Fear.

I saw fear passing through her eyes.

— But — I continued, placing my hand over hers — they're not difficult to defeat.

Confusion.

— What do you mean? — she blinked. — You just said they're stronger than daddy!

Smile.

I smiled, in that way I knew she found mysterious and a bit irritating.

— Lala — I said gently — do you know what I really am?

Pause.

She paused. Looked at me. Really looked. As if seeing beyond the second-year student appearance for the first time.

— You're... special — she said finally. — I always knew. Since the first day. There was something about you that made my heart... know... that you were different.

Truth time.

— I am the Creator — I said simply. — The one who made everything. Stars, planets, life, death, time, space. Everything.

Shock.

Her eyes widened. Processing. Trying to reconcile "Rito-kun who stumbles into ecchi situations" with "literally God."

— You... you are...

— God — I completed. — Yahweh. The Presence. Depending on the culture, I have different names. But yes.

Silence.

The silence that followed was dense. Heavy. As if the universe was holding its breath.

Then she did something completely unexpected.

Laugh.

She laughed.

Not a nervous laugh. But a genuine, joyful, relieved laugh.

— That — she said between laughs — that explains SO MUCH!

What.

— Explains? — I asked, genuinely confused.

— How you always know what to say! — she gestured animatedly. — How you never get really scared! How you fixed my inventions without even understanding the technology! How you...

List.

She continued listing things she had noticed over the months, small details that had accumulated, clues she had subconsciously collected.

Observant.

More observant than I gave her credit for.

— So — she finally paused to breathe — Darkseid, Thanos, and Frieza... they're not a problem for you?

Nod.

— No — I confirmed. — They're strong, yes. But compared to me? They're like ants trying to intimidate the sun.

Relief.

The relief on her face was palpable.

— So everyone will be safe — she murmured. — Daddy, mommy, my sisters, you, Earth... everyone.

Promise.

— Everyone — I promised. — No one will hurt our family. Never.

Hug.

She hugged me. Tight. As if wanting to make sure I was real.

Warmth.

— I love you, Rito-kun — she whispered.

— I love you too — I replied, hugging back.

Contemplation.

But while holding her, my mind wandered to a darker thought. Darkseid, Thanos, Frieza. Three iconic villains from completely different universes. DC, Marvel, Dragon Ball.

Question.

Why were they all here?

Theory.

A theory had formed in my mind during the conversation with Gid. When I reincarnated — when the original essence of Yahweh manifested in Yuuki Rito — I had created... ripples... through the multiverse.

Ripples.

Like a stone thrown in a cosmic lake, my reincarnation had sent waves through realities. And perhaps... perhaps... those waves had pulled other souls through dimensional barriers.

Dragged.

Darkseid dragged from the DC universe. Thanos ripped from the Marvel universe. Frieza pulled from the Dragon Ball universe.

All of them ending up here. In this universe. Because of me.

Irony.

The irony was almost poetic. My reincarnation had created the very enemies that now threatened peace.

But.

But it also meant something important.

If I brought them here...

Control.

Then I had some measure of control over the situation. It wasn't random cosmic coincidence. It was a consequence of my actions.

Responsibility.

My responsibility to fix.

Footsteps.

Pat-pat-pat.

Small footsteps coming from the house. Momo and Nana coming out "discreetly" as if on a spy mission.

Caught.

— So — I said without turning around — how long do you think you can hide from Zastin that you stayed behind?

Squeak.

Nana let out a squeak of surprise.

— How did you... — Momo began.

— I know everything — I replied simply, finally turning to face them. — And your father knew too. He deliberately left you here.

Shock.

Both were dumbfounded.

— D-daddy knew?! — Nana stammered.

— Of course he knew — I laughed. — Do you think you fool the Conquering King with a trick five-year-olds use?

Momo.

Momo at least had the decency to look embarrassed.

— So... — she said slowly — he let us stay on purpose?

— Yes — I confirmed. — Because he trusts me to take care of you.

Weight.

The weight of that trust was... significant.

Trust.

Gid had entrusted his three daughters — the three heirs to the largest galactic empire — to my care.

It was... honor. Responsibility. And a statement of absolute faith.

Stand.

I stood up, looking at the three alien princesses who were now officially under my protection.

— House rules — I said firmly. — Number one: no destroying the city with crazy inventions.

Lala laughed nervously.

— Number two: no causing intergalactic diplomatic incidents.

Momo nodded innocently.

— Number three: — I looked specifically at Nana — you can have as many pets as you want, but YOU clean up the mess.

Blush.

She blushed, but nodded enthusiastically.

— And number four — I finished, smiling warmly — welcome to the family.

Group hug.

Lala jumped on me immediately. Momo joined gracefully. And Nana, after hesitating and muttering "i-it's not like I wanted a hug or anything," also joined.

Family.

Family. Growing. Expanding.

Cosmic.

From ordinary student to God. From alone to surrounded by people I loved.

Life was strange.

But good.

But it was good.

Storm coming.

And when Darkseid, Thanos, and Frieza finally appeared...

Ready.

We would be ready.

Because nobody — absolutely nobody — messes with God's family.

Nobody.

Nobody
