Lin Ruonan saw the message and it was too late to stop it.
"Why did you tell Brother? It's not a big deal, maybe I just lazed around at home for a few days without training, which caused some digestive issues."
She could imagine how overly meticulous her brother would react upon knowing she was admitted to the hospital feeling unwell.
Sure enough, less than a minute after An Ran sent the message, Lin Ruonan got a call from her brother.
Lin Ruonan gave An Ran a helpless look and answered the phone, "Hello, Brother."
"Wow, still calling him Brother? You should have changed that by now," An Ran quipped with a hint of sarcasm.
Lin Ruonan, like a little quail, just kept nodding her head, "It's nothing serious, just a bit of a stomach upset. Ran and Xiao Xiao insisted on taking me to the hospital for a check-up."
"It's no big deal, it's just that Ruonan might be expecting a little baby in her belly," Xiao Xiao chimed in while Lin Ruonan was on the phone.
