The Eclipse stepped forward.
The nanite shell along its chest began to pulse—slow at first, then faster—until deep crimson light bled through the seams of its armor. The ground beneath it vibrated as energy spilled outward in expanding waves.
The small nano-beasts surrounding it were the first to react.
They were flung away.
Not destroyed—repelled.
Their bodies scattered across the wasteland as if a massive hand had swatted them aside.
Seenu planted his feet. "That pressure just jumped."
Kunal's eyes sharpened. "It's switching modes."
The Eclipse's back split open.
Metal unfolded.
Layers rotated.
Then—guns emerged.
Dozens of them.
No barrels glowing. No charging sound.
They fired instantly.
The sky darkened.
A storm of bullets screamed forward—dense, overlapping, fast enough to blur into silver lines.
Seenu raised his blade—
Aamir stepped past him.
"I've got this."
He didn't activate anything flashy.
No roar of power.
